Iran plotting against US from Latin America

Erika Anderson from the Heritage Foundation sends us news that Univision has produced a documentary which details the plot by the Iranian government to disrupt life in the US using Latin America as a launching pad for their nefarious deeds;

The documentary showed a former Iran senior official accepting a plan to launch from Mexico a cyber war on the United States, one that would cripple U.S. computer systems, including the White House, the FBI, the CIA and several nuclear plants. The official, former Iranian Ambassador to Mexico Mohammad Hassan Ghadiri, was shown accepting the offer from undercover Mexican university students. A trailer to the documentary can be seen here.

The documentary also showed the undercover Mexican students presenting plans for the cyber attack to Venezuelan officials in Mexico. The Venezuelan official was very receptive to the plot, saying that she was close to Venezuela’s hard-leftist President Hugo Chavez and that she would love to share the information with him as soon as possible. The same happened with Cuban officials in Mexico, who were equally interested in a plot against the United States.

The students in the documentary appeared to have conducted a sting operation similar to the reports carried out by the American journalist James O’Keefe in the U.S.

This blog has been warning about ties between Venezuela and Hezbollah for years. Closing our borders to the south are about more than an illegal alien invasion…it’s about national security. The war is following our troops home and it’s time this administration recognized that fact.

  1. “The war is following our troops home and it’s time this administration recognized that fact.” Yeah, Jonn, I don’t think an administration that can categorize the Ft. Hood shootings as “workplace violence” has any interest in closing the borders. However, they will get the Hezbo’s, Iranians and Venezuelans registered to vote.

  2. Iran’s penetration of Latin America via Cuba, Venezuela, and Ecuador has been known for a few years. The Iranians are also in league to the Mexican drug cartels. AG Holder arms the cartels, and the Iranians train them in exchange for access to routes into the US.

    Good for the undercover Mexican students. Expect them all to be dead within a few weeks.

    Well, according to some posters here, your statement is a lot of hyperbole and the premise to fight them over there rather than here is false. I’m not one of them, but there are a few.

  4. Wait, you mean there are Iranian “little brown bodies” crossing the Southern Border that the president is turning a blind eye to? Say it ain’t so…

  5. Just the other day, Ron Paul said at the debate that no other country could attack us, drop a bomb on us.

    See? So we’re all worried about nothing. That’s pretty much what he always says. We’re so strong we have nothing to worry about. No one is an actual threat. No one except the CIA, Pentagon, etc.

    He needs to fire up that his imagination of his if he wants to understand that military aggression doesn’t always take the form of a land invasion. I don’t honestly expect the Iranian army to have D-Day style beach landing at one of our shores with ships filled with infantry troops.

    But that’s not to say that Iran doesn’t have intentions to do us harm. They do. They’ll be a lot more sneaky about it when they do, which is the nature of warfare in the 21st century.

    And the clueless old dipshit keeps telling us to relax.

  6. Scorch: You should be embarrassed. But then again, he brings home great pork spending to his district!

  7. Somehow Jonn, I don’t expect the US Gobermint to listen to a bunch of right wing extremist “old vets”….namely us.

  8. “Closing our borders to the south are about more than an illegal alien invasion…it’s about national security.” Its an illegal alien problem, health problem, criminal problem, and a national security problem. Republicans are terrified of being called racists or are beholden to big business interests that want cheap labor(that we subsidize anyway). Democrats plan to expand their base, much of which is either ethnic in nature or poor in some way and dependent on government assistance. We’re screwed.

  9. “Closing our borders to the south are about more than an illegal alien invasion…it’s about national security.” Its a foreign invasion problem, health problem, criminal enterprise problem, and a national security problem.
