You know what that means, right? That means I’m more influential than the President…so are you. Seems to me that the President being on the list should lead the story, though, not Ed Schultz. And I wonder where Joe Biden falls on the list – he should be the number one, the retard.

While Solyndra was a bad loan, it certainly is nothing compared to the 8 billion dollar “loss” from military contractors that Fox barely reported. WSJ ranked Solyndra as one of the next big venture stocks, officials from both the Obama and Bush administration saw Solyndra as a good company to invest in, the deal was accompanied by private investors to minimize the risk.
In retrospect was the Solyndra deal a mistake? Yes, one made by the conservative Walton family as well. Was it a fuck up of Bush proportions? No.

That the way that military does medical care is different compared to regular clinics.
For example. How many people get told by their clinics that all walk ins should come in between 06:30-7:30. That the waiting list for appointments will get longer and harder to get. That because the care is free that people will come in for things that they would not have if they had to pay for it.
Also if we go to the new system, will it go the having anyone that wants to call in sick have to go to sick call and report back to work the similar way that the military works. That it goes to the quarter system were the doctor has to recommend and the boss has to approve to have time off.

In 1960 the median pay for physicians was just over 10k.
In 1966, the first year of Medicare it rose to 15k.
Two years later it rose to 24k, the largest increase of Doctor’s pay in history.
40 years later the median salary for Primary Care physicians was 186k and specialists it is 340k. This is 100k more than there salaries would have increased if it were just adjusted for inflation. There’s been a similar increase in nurses salaries as well.
So thanks to Medicare, our doctors are- by far- the wealthiest doctors on the planer.

I was about to say something similar CI. But to be honest I never understood the (mostly Conservative) contention that successful= good or right. Bill O’Reilly does that a lot. Broke Back Mountain is a bad movie because on one will see it (this is before it went on to gross over 100 million), he has many times more viewers than Rachel Maddow therefore his opinion on the issues carries more weight. His book sells more than some liberals therefore the liberal ought to be discounted (he did this with Anne Coulter).Rush Limbaugh has many times more listeners than all progressive listeners put together.
While all that is certainly true (except the Brokeback Mountain) I fundamentally deny the notion that because someone is rich or successful that they are fundamentally smarter or more artistic or of better quality. Both parties preach principles, but practice the expansion of government and curtailment of civil liberties of societal subsets they oppose. Oh, and the NH Union Leader today endorsed Newt. BIG problem for Romney.

FWIW, if I recall hearing correctly, the NH Union Leader has an abysmal record of picking the winning horse.
They picked Reagan. And frankly, I’d rather have gone with Buchanan over Dole, but what the hell, right?
Basically, they just kicked Mitt right in the balls in a state he should have had locked up before he even announced. As it is, he’s actually going to have to campaign here, and even that might not be enough with the Masshole transplants.
I’m with you on Buchanan…ironically, the only time I’ve seen any GOP campaign apparatus for this electoral season was when I was checking out of the Wentworth in NH…the Romney people were getting prepped for his arrival.
I’m not so sure that just because of proximity, NH ‘should’ be a lock for him….but I’m in VA, so I obviously don’t have the on-the-ground aspect.
