El Marko in NYC

Editor Note: Sorry, Ringo emailed to tell me that it was El Marko and not Ringo who posted this essay. But, all of those white boys look alike to me in their emails.

Our buddy, El Marko left the lunacy in LA behind and was introduced to whole ‘nuther kind of crazy in New York City last weekend. He shares it with us in his latest post “Zuccotti Utopia: Portraits of The New Revolutionaries“;

I recently traveled from Colorado to New York the weekend before the demise of the revolutionary social experiment in lower Manhattan known as Occupy Wall Street’s “Camp Anonymous.” I went intending to capture for posterity photographic images of the people and infrastructure that comprised that hopeful utopian “model community for a new world.”

I thank goodness for folks like El Marko…I get to stay here among the ‘splodin’ meth labs rather than travel to real dangerous areas.

Jonn, this photo-essay is not my work, it’s was done by El Marco. And a fine job he did too!

Gotta LOVE that sign! As if we adults are not already accustomed to the confusion of youth. Some of us even remember being that way ourselves.

“Some of us even remember being that way ourselves” And then we woke up.Hungry babies can’t eat slogans.
