Are You Looking For One Single Vet to Thank?

There are millions deserving of thanks, both past and present, then there are those who are doing things NOW?

That list shrinks, but is still huge and a bit hard to focus on for us old folks.

Every single one deserves our thanks, but if we need a narrower focus?

If you are reading this you know.

Thanks Jonn.

You give a voice to tens of thousands,  some know it. Others will learn.

Farm Team… my scrawny old ass!

Gonna suffer for this post. And I ain’t gay. Yet.

Had to change the heading. Odd that … hint to OWB?

  1. Little man-crush? lol No, you’re totally right. He served his country and has served vets since. We’re lucky to have him.

  2. Ray #1: I warned all of you about it. TSO and his phallic flower, Jonn and his concern for his rosy-pink skin… wouldn’t you be a bit concerned if you hung out with them?

Even I mentioned my ass. Damn… What’s next? I DO like show tunes?

  3. Zero, by virtue of your having swabbed quite a few decks (poop and otherwise), I might call your last sentence into question…. 😉 jp! Thank you Jonn, you, TSO, Zero, The Sniper and the rest, kept me entertained while I was deployed in 2009-2010, and kept my morale up, even as my Chain of Command actively sought to destroy it as if it was a hostile force to their retardedness…

  4. And in answer to your original question – no. I don’t discriminate between single and un-single Vets when passing along my thinks. Or even groups of single or un-single Vets.

  5. OK – I’m done now! That last would have made MUCH more sense as “thanks.”

But “thinks” IS funnier! Unfortunately, THAT was not the intended humor. Teehee.

THANKS all you single Vets! Every last one of you!!

  6. @7. Look, just because Zero’s favorite writer is Gay Talese, his favorite era was the Gay Nineties, favorite aircraft was the Enola Gay, favorite racehorse was Sir Gaylord, and frequents a male-only bar in Fort Gay, W.V. does not make him–ah–um–er–well, maybe a tad.
