Yep, they are tying to make public any information about the Officer they think was the one that fired the shot. Oh and in case that anything is thinking I am taking this out of context I present the comments.

Anyone still want to call this a “Peaceful” movement?

A bunch of 12 year olds are butthurt on 4chan. Oh no!
I believe the cops can (and will) take care of themselves.
Of course, my idea of proper riot suppression involves 2.75 rockets and M134 Miniguns. (c8
Anyone gonna post the identities of the IVAW personnel responsible for putting Scott Olsen in harm’s way and using him as a pawn?
I notice the IVAW officers were nowhere near him, nor were they hurt. They were probably nice and safe at an internet cafe, drinking double mocha lattes.
Can anybody tell us why IVAW had to re-occupy a park in the middle of the night that had already been cleared by police? What did they hope to accomplish, other than recklessly spark a confrontation that injured Scott Olsen.
As far as I’m concerned, we should just declare martial law and lock everyone down everywhere. Freedom and “liberal democracy” is nice and all, but citizens of the United States need to know their place.
This country is founded on security first, not liberty. If you so much as scratch a hair on the head of the establishment, the government should immediately and indiscriminately crush the movement.
Personally, I want to see tanks out there. Hell, the Chinese have more balls than we do.
And yeah, it’s totally that Scott Olsen kid’s fault, not whichever cop pulled the trigger. It’s not like a major point of firearms training is making sure that you don’t hit someone beyond where you are shooting.
Kent State should have taught these dumbasses. Shit happens, deal with it hippies. YOU chose to come out and “protest”, not the police.
Meh….fuckin trolls….
Yes, I do believe you have the moron provocateur bit down. That’s a pretty poseur title, though. Fancy words for a hippie to use.
By the way, the morons/hippies at Kent State started that shit. One of their own with a .38 revolver started shooting. Same thing with the mob in Boston that got the British soldiers to fire upon them, though they were only using rocks, bricks and clubs and bottles.
I couldn’t agree more @7. I couldn’t agree more.
the Boston Masaqure started when a member of the mob, hit a private with a rock and as an involuntary impulse he pulled the trigger. The rest of the troops opened fire thinking they were under attack.
Kent state is pretty much the same story. Never mind the National Guard is called out for a REASON.
“The Consequences will never be the same”? You know, if you really want to sound like an evil internet overlord, you have got to work on your manifestos and threats a bit. For starters, I would suggest a creative writing class.
“& if it’s NOT him…” So says Counelis. Huh? What does he mean if it’s not the P/O whose name and picture they posted? Oh, I get it. All P/Os are equally culpable. They are all enemies of The Peoples. Makes sense.
Still can’t get by the fact that Olsen was more than likely hit by something thrown or launched from a slingshot by the occuturds, right Moron?
And, look at the “bravery” of Moron’s buddy, who posts as “anonymous”. Now, that takes balls.
IF you go to some of the sites that people like Moron infest, they’ve already decided that Olsen doesn’t have anything to do with ihatethemarinecorps dot com, the evile police got there first and changed the ownership info, or maybe it was Bush? Or, the Koch brothers? And, the pic of him at the USMC Ball was photoshopped.
Question being, will the cops drop the hammer on these folks during the Occupy phase, or once they come home?
For the lawyers in the group, when does venting give way to conspiracy to commit ___?
Not a lawyer, didn’t even play one on TV, but my observations from a time long ago were that venting (though that term was not used until the PC Police came into being) gave way to conspiracy to commit when the intent collided with opportunity and means.
In today’s world? It could be whatever makes whoever yells the loudest feel good about themselves. Or something else entirely, yet to be determined by the world court or michael moore. Or maybe Jimmy Hoffa.
Since Olsen is about to become a Christ figure in the media and among the Left, a question worth asking is are there any Iraq vets in the Oakland PD, or in the PD’s of any of the cities with ows violence?
How many of the cops who are manning the streets (and in many cases being assaulted by protestors) in cities around the western world are returned veterans?
More than a few I’d wager.
To me the US or Allied soldier/sailor/marine/airman/coastie who serves and comes home to help secure/protect EVERYONE’s right to free speech as a cop is more noble than a vet who comes home intending to destabilze and divide the country he served.
I think we’re about to see the media quickly develop many more of these “angry returned vets” stories. Its perfect cover for the left: they are free to cheer any direct action taken by people like Olsen regardless of its obvious illegality because he has the morality shield of vet status in Bush’s OilWar.
Even better, anyone who challenge the framing of Olsen as a helpless fluff lamb must be an unpatriotic teabagger cracking on poor unemployed ptsd vets.
And in the case of this particular vet, he just happens to have a public website dedicated to his hatred of the military and military service. Funny how that works.
Poster boy of the entire movement by Monday.
This will likely also be one of the clubs that Sunday TV news talk shows use to beat their hapless GOP guests tomorrow. And none of these witless drones will mention the crucial pieces missing from the “Lionize Olsen” reporting:
-the kid was unlawfully assembling and warned by cops to disperse
-if he got injured in OPD response to his illegal and violent assembly thats his fault
-its dishonorable to hide behind Marine vet status
-funny how the left only supports the troops when they join in violent unlawful street protests designed to divide and infuriate the country.
Scott Olsen and his Navy uniform wearing buddy intentionally formed a flag waving rally point in front of a police line, for a projectile throwing mob bent on over running that police line.
He and his Navy uniform wearing buddy intentionally refused numerous clear orders to disperse.
Brain surgery by misadventure.

Asshats like Olsen are making the argument more and more for vets to begin policing ourselves. Guys like this need a little extra attention from the rest of us I guess…
DaveO: Generally, conspiracy requires two or more persons to agree to some act that, if actualized, would be a crime. (The crime need to be committed need not occur.) It also requires that one of the persons perform some overt act toward committing the crime. This is the standard definition but state laws may vary on what constitutes conspiracy in that particular state. There are a few types of crimes (inchoate, they are called) in which no harm has to be done to anyone for the crime to be committed. I hope that answers your question. Remember, though, that monster called police and prosecutorial discretion. Just because 50 reasonable people recognize that a crime occurred does not mean that an arrest or prosecution will result. In fact, many of the petty crimes being committed by the occupiers are being tolerated to avoid escalation or for political reasons.
Has anyone noticed that the hippies were all for violence in their little marxism 101 meetings, having speaker after speaker declare that violent overthrow is the only way, blah, blah, blah, yet when the shit hits the fan, they start crying like the the butt hurt little bitches they are?
They talk a good game when they are comfortable in their little group of like minded individuals, sitting around smoking a bowl and hatin’ on the man, but that’s all they have to offer is talk.
OT…they remind me of how loud a puppy screams when you’re rubbing his nose into the shit he took on the carpet. You’re not hurting him, but you’d think you just ripped his legs off by the noise.
Actually, that’s not a fair comparison to make. Eventually the puppy learns not to shit on the carpet.
