Total crock of shit, but y’all knew that from minute one.
You might recall from the other day that the Occupy Indy thugs said that the goal of their single file line idiocy was:
Remain standing in a group of 5 or more and they can take us to jail, but if we are each in motion and still together in a single file line it will disrupt regular foot traffic in the target area, making it difficult for the 1% and their minions to conduct their business.
Well, that post has gone down the memory hole. But what makes it all the more fun is that hippie spokesdouche Joh Padgett talked to the local NBC affiliate. And lookee here:
Joh Padgett checked out Veterans Memorial Park Tuesday to scout how to set up Saturday’s protest. He’s on the organizing committee for Occupy Indianapolis.
“We want to show support. We want to air our grievances that are definitively Hoosier-flavored grievances,” he said.
“We do not meant to disrupt their lives, but we have to, because they are working in support positions of the one percent,” Padgett said. The Occupy Wall Street protest turned ugly, with a number of arrests. Cameras recorded confrontations between protestors and police. After Saturday’s rehearsal, Occupy Indianapolis will target downtown buildings and block people from entering and leaving.
“For example, if we target Chase Tower, then we would have a single-file line of people blocking the entrance to Chase Tower,” Padgett said. Police won’t talk about the Occupy Indy protest, but did reveal they are holding meetings at police headquarters about the event, which organizers hope will be arrest-free. “We don’t want any violence, we don’t want any disruption. We don’t want to obstruct traffic, we simply want to disrupt traffic,” Padgett said.
But oh, that is so yesterday. Since then, they shitcanned the earlier post, and put up this bit of nonsense:
It is Occupy Indianapolis’ goal to violate no laws in our upcoming actions. During an interview on WTHR-TV, channel 13 in Indianapolis, Occupy Indianapolis spokesman Joh Padgett did not say the organization would block access to any building. During reporter comments on the story it was reported Padgett said we would “Block” entrances to buildings. That is a violation of law, and Padgett at no time stated we would block any entrance or exit from any building. The “People mover” strategy is a continually moving, single file line of people. This is within the confines of local law. We will, at no time, prevent anyone from entering or exiting any building, nor will we at any time interfere with vehicular traffic along our route.
That is of course blatent horseshit. It was their intent to disrupt pedestrian traffic, they states as much on their blog, then their spokesman said as much, and then the disavowed what they had written, removed it from the internet, disavowed what their spokesman said, and then forced the TV channel to append their article to add this:
Note: In our original story, we stated that protesters planned to block workers from entering buildings. This is incorrect, according to organizers, and we apologize for the error.
So, what could have possibly changed? Well, seems the dumb ass hippies finally got around to looking up the law that I had looked up last week regarding criminal confinement. We know this because of a post they put up to replace their asinine “People Mover Single File Line Plan of Awesomeness” post.
Do not congregate in front of buildings and do not block people from entering or exiting buildings. Do not obstruct people from passing by you and impairing his/her rights from passing by you.
In other words: Do not obstruct flow of traffic on streets or sidewalks!!!
A direct quote from a National Lawyer’s Guild attorney: “When, and if, they disrupt safe and efficient flow of traffic on either, police may intervene to protect public safety.”
Stupid dirty assed hippies got themselves a communist front lawyers group to help them out. How all you Paulians feeling about joining them now, eh?
BTW- You should also go listen to my buddy Abdul, as he interviews Hippie Spokesdouche.

“Do not obstruct flow of traffic on streets or sidewalks!!!”. Any bets on how long that’ll last?
Seems that “After Saturday’s rehearsal, Occupy Indianapolis will target downtown buildings and block people from entering and leaving.” is pretty straight-forward, but maybe they just plan to “mentally” block entrances? Kind of like the Vulcan mind meld?
You have to wonder exactly what they will gain from this. Aside from a criminal record that is.

1. Drunken hippie sex with something that might loosely resemble a woman.
2. New ganja contacts.
3. Handfuls of communist literature that you can impress your hipster douchebag friends with until they declare the movement too ‘mainstream’.
4. Spiffy new slogans to chant when your teacher gives out homework over the weekend.
5. Access to some of the best homemade protest signs this side of the Mississippi River.
6. Tons of new Facebook friends who can join your Vampire Wars and FarmVille teams.
7. The ability to show off your best pair of skinny legged jeans that mom and dad bought for you…those fundie shitbag Republicans.
The dude’s name is J-o-h? That would make me jealous and bitter, too.
As with the OWS crowd; these chuckleheads have no clue or message to their protest. That’s because if brains were dynamite; collectively, they wouldn’t have enough to blow a ripple over a teaspoon of piss.
Der…stuck on stupid.
Head Hippie: “I intend to hit someone over the head.”
Reporter: “Sir, we understand that you intend to hit someone over the head.”
Head Hippie: “No. I did not say that. I resent that you wrongly reported that. I demand a retraction and an apology.”
Reporter: “Consider it done.”
they bitch about how no one covers it, then when they show their true colors, the try to retract, and the reporters oblige. Really the only thing the reporters aren’t doing is sucking them off.
color me ignorant but wouldn’t the laws the leftist pushed through to hamper abortion clinic protest apply here? Or do the laws now only apply to the right only/?
No, no NO! You definitely do not understand how this works!! The lefties feel that laws which obstruct freedom of speech only apply to righties/the rest of the world, but they are allowed to do wahtever they feel like, whenever, wherever. Yeah, you are beginning to see it – it is against the law for any of us to impede their free expression any where, any time. That includes spray painting swastikas on the steps of the US Capitol and committing assault on vets. (Be especially careful around them because they carry cameras which they use to film you protecting yourself after they have slugged you, but conveniently turn the camera on only AFTER they commit the original assault.)
You know OWB, you DO have a point. You know if we ever saw a guy in Iraq with a camera, orders were to shoot the camera. Hmmm. Maybe an essay about reasonable use of force by “peace officers” as the hippie douche will refer to them. Hell maybe the police out to put up signs with big pictures that say “be a good boy and we’ll put up with you, act the fool and my size tens are going on your neck”
Personnel is policy.

I find this blog to be quite bizarre in an amusing kind of way. The blogger seems furious that the Occupy Indy protestors have strived to follow the letter of the law from the very start even if their initial plans were stated poorly and poorly thought out. The blogger then gets even more furious that the organizers consulted legal advice and amended their initial plans. As a result of their efforts to plan a peaceful, legal protest march they have explicitly and conspicuosly posted instructions telling participants:
“Do not congregate in front of buildings and do not block people from entering or exiting buildings. Do not obstruct people from passing by you and impairing his/her rights from passing by you.
In other words: Do not obstruct flow of traffic on streets or sidewalks!!!”
It seems rather odd that the blogger would be so incredibly pissed that this group appears to have done an excellent job of planning a LEGAL march that does not violate anyones rights.
Is attempting and instructing others to follow the law now a bad thing?
Cheers!
“After Saturday’s rehearsal, Occupy Indianapolis will target downtown buildings and block people from entering and leaving.”
Vinnie says the plan was poorly stated. Poorly stated? The plan was written in plain language and there is not a scintilla of vagueness or ambiguity in the statement. Not only is it not a poorly stated plan but it is well stated, crystal clear, and devoid of errors in grammar or punctuation.
Hey Vincent. Come back later, will you? Most of the regulars are watching football and polishing their toad stickers right now.
Knock. Knock. Vinnie. Are you there? I forgot to let you in a secret. There are three guys at OI whose job it is to slow the walking blocade and then stop it. Got the idea? Right. Wet your bandana now and cover up. those PR-24s hurt!
wow such anger here get help your words are venemous and divisive and not welcome
