There’s been some movement in a story I posted about here.
Here’s the good news: The eco-zealous feds have backed off and dropped the charges.
Here’s the bad news: They made Hill pay a $1,000 fine.
Sad really.

It could be worse.
What was the fine for? Hunting without a license?

I’m not going to link to any of the YouTube videos for “Grizly Bear Kills Moose” but, jeez, if you want to see what the grizzly bear can do, take a gander there. After seeing one or two of those videos, I’ll probably want to blast the TV the next time a grizzly appears on it. They do not fool around and I’m guessing that the fellow in Wyoming new as much.
Pinto–actually, grizzlies are threatened in the lower 48, so more likely than not it was for shooting at a protected species.
Next time a grizz appears in my yard, I’ll call a Federal Eco-somebody to come over to deal with it. When he/she/it/they/them appears, I’ll throw the Fed(s) to the grizz & let the grizz feed on the Fed(s). If the Fed(s) want to save themselves, let THEM kill the grizz. Sounds like a win-win to me.
