BOLO George Lauve

This old clown is named George H Lauve, well, sometimes. He sometimes goes by George Lauvec and he’s from Wenatchee, WA, the same town where we found another phony living, Bob “Spooky 8” King.

I think the first indicator that this asshole is not a Marine is that weak-ass salute. According to the people who sent me this article, they can’t find his name anywhere in relation to a service record. I know he’s not on the list of Navy Cross recipients at Home of Heroes.

But he is an officer at the American Legion Post 10 in Wenatchee.

  1. I don’t really understand it. This guy did all this great stuff for the legion for 40 years and it is ruined by some BS stories??

  2. I wouldn’t say all the great stuff he did for the legion for 40 years is “ruined” by his BS stories. I would say that none of that excuses him from stealing honor and glory from other men.

Claim 1: A Marine’s Marine. He didn’t just memorize the Pacific battles, he fought them!
Claim 2: He fought in Korea, too, at the Frozen Chosen no less!
Claim 3: He earned two of his FIVE Purple Hearts at Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal.
Claim 4: He was awarded the Silver Star.
Claim 5: He was awarded the Navy Cross.

Reality: Not a Marine at all. No battles, no Purple Hearts, no Siver Star, no navy Cross. Just a fraud.

  4. The pseudo-Marine was in the Navy DURING World War II? What is wrong with being in the Navy? I was in the Navy. I’ve never regretted it. The 1960s and early 1970s were not the best time to bring it up, but I never decided it was embarrassing to say I was a WAVE.
Doesn’t matter if he was a cook or a bosun’s mate, does it?
Unless he spent most of his time in the brig or did a lot of goldbricking, why did he decide to fabricate what he did?

  5. American Legion Posts only ask for a DD-Form 214. Whether it is real or fake…
