A friend of mine was both an EMT and FIRE/RESCUE. A man caused the same problem with his wife, accidently (he fixed a cracked toilet seat and forgot to tell her). They did the same thing: unbolted the seat and took the lady to the hospital to have it removed. It does cause an awful lot of embarrassment for the victim.

But it brightens the day of ED workers who often are dealing with lots less cheerful stuff. Embarassing, yes, but still adding to some kind of happiness in the world.
