This is what is going around FaceBook from Rethink Afghanistan.

Yea, the Taliban will all go away if we leave. It is all our fault.

Except that people conveniently forget what the Taliban truly are.

But don’t worry this is all our fault too. But somethings will never change.

My name is Warren Andrews, and I am 40 years old. I live with my wife Christine and my 11 year old son. I have been in the Army for over 13 years and had one deployment to Iraq from May 2008 to June 2009.

  1. I like this video not only for the reminder of who we are fighting, but as a counterpoint against those who say having to show a photo ID to vote is an incredible burden.

  2. Voting is exercising power. For people that have had none that is an amazing thing. For people that have taken power by force that is terrifying. I fail to see how this could be justified.
