Unhelpful birthers

The Washington Times reports that birthers in the House gallery yesterday shouted out their disapproval of the President and his questionable birth location and documentation;

The reading of the Constitution in the U.S. House of Representatives was interrupted Thursday by a woman who shouted, “Except Obama, except Obama,” to the venerable document’s words on a U.S. citizen’s eligibility to be president.

Just as Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., New Jersey Democrat, was reading “no person, except a natural-born citizen, or a citizen of the United States” is eligible for the presidency, a woman in the visitors gallery yelled out that it did not apply to President Obama.

Rep. Mike Simpson, Idaho Republican, who was presiding over the House, banged the gavel and halted the proceedings, warning that such action from members of the public was a violation of House rules. The woman was quickly removed by Capitol police.

How could she think that was helpful? How could anyone? I only wish there had been some stocks on the west lawn of the Capitol where the police could have locked her in and the rest of us could walk by and ridicule her for a few days.

Can we let Code Pink be the uncouth inbreds who cause commotions for the sole purpose of causing a commotion?

  1. I want a little more information before I’m willing to chalk this up to an actual skeptic of Obama’s eligibility for the office acting like a complete fool. All I’ve found in half a dozen articles (thus far) is it was “a woman”; spectacularly descriptive, that. At first glance, this comes off to me as a false flag operation intended to give the Dems and the media something, anything, to focus on besides the sullenness of the Dems during this proceeding, so I’m on the fence until we get some details on the shouter.

  2. “Birther” movement was started by “progressive” Hillary Clinton supporters. Shouters name is “Theresa” and most likely a plant (Code Stink) or a Ron Paul *ideought*
