Since there was little warning about last post here is something to counter it. People may or many not know that I am currently living in Alaska and here is a photo my wife Christine took when we went to Old Seward. You now in the Simpsons movie where they gasp about how pretty it is, it really is that nice.

I rather enjoyed the previous post but probably shouldn’t have accessed it from my government laptop and saved images to the hard drive.
Okay, actually, that link made me lose my post-NASCAR buzz. the Keystone won’t work to wash those images out of my head, so I’m about to pull the Beam out of the freezer.
As for Alaska, one of my former Platoon Sergeants retired up there, and I think a former First Sergeant did as well. My brother-in-law spent a few months there; a couple prior to his deployment and a couple after he was sent back there after deserting and getting caught. I’m waiting for him to screw up so he can get his picture here and at POW Network…
