Chrissy Matthews: Head-stomping “right wing by its very nature”

Newsbusters’ Geoffrey Dickens writes about a moment on the Chrissy Matthews show (whatever channel and time it’s on) during which Chrissy Matthews, the teenage girl of the Leftist media twice makes the point that the “Tea party” (whoever that is anymore these days) resembles the Nazi movement in the 30s.

“…we saw from hoodlums in the thirties in another country I will not mention” and added: “I mean it isn’t far from what we saw in the thirties, where all of a sudden, political parties started showing up in uniform.”

He went on to say that what Tim Profitt did to Lauren Valle was “right wing by its very nature.”

So let’s look at the video that has been making the rounds thanks to a tipster at Red State. What you’re looking for is Valle bolting from the right side of the video and pushing her way through the crowd…quite violently, in fact, if I was a prosecutor, I’d probably charge her with assault;

About the video, the LA Times, that bastion of conservative reporters, quotes Red State describing the action on the video;

“Toward the end of the video, you see several Paul supporters asking a police officer to come intervene. It was Paul supporters who told Profitt to back off,” RedState Insider blogged. “It was Paul supporters who brought the police. Contrary to the growing narrative on the left, this video clearly shows that Valle was not the victim of a conspiracy to ‘take her out.’ “

But let’s go back to Matthews’ comment about brown shirts and the tea party for moment. After his “right wing by its very nature” line, matthews says;

Name the last liberal progressive candidate who hired a private army, the last one that was stomping his political, her political opponents in the street?

How about Bill Clinton, Chrissy? I seem to remember something about members of the the teamster union in Philadelphia providing security at a Clinton event who stomped a man and his sister in the street in 1998.

Am I justifying Profitt’s actions? Not in the least. There is no good reason to put your feet on a woman…unless she asks. And, oh, there was no “head-stomping” going on in the video.

  1. “I mean it isn’t far from what we saw in the thirties, where all of a sudden, political parties started showing up in uniform.”

    Um, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it all the “progressive” rallies that have the SEIU purple shirts out in force? I mean, wouldn’t THAT signify a uniformed gathering more than standard dressed Americans at a TEA Party rally? I’m just sayin……

  2. “I mean it isn’t far from what we saw in the thirties, where all of a sudden, political parties started showing up in uniform.”

    What, all the Democrats in their KKK uni’s????

  3. It wouldn’t matter if this woman had a Samarai sword while rushing towards the car screaming “Allahu Akbar!” The Left has their talking point and it’s “the TEA Partiers are NAZI brownshirts!!!!11ty!!!”

    My opinion of this has not changed from when I initially saw the videos posted on the first post here. The stupidass radical chick was in the wrong. She was restrained. One guy went a LITTLE overboard, he was told to stop. End of story.

    The fact this is a story at all shows just how utterly fucking pathetic and desperate are liberals and Democrats, based on knowing their Party is going to get a figurative head-stomping at the polls next week.

  4. Oh yeah, and I won’t be holding my breath waiting for the likes of Debra, and the rest from that previous post, to apologize for calling this woman a victim and for considering all of us who agreed with taking her down, since she was a threat, to be some sort of lawless, classless jackasses.

    Nor will I be holding my breath waiting for them to call what this woman did in rushing the car as assault.

    Nor will I be holding my breath waiting for them to admit that this was a typical bullshit stunt pulled by a long-time radical activist and was presented 100% out of context by the usual suspects on the Left and in the MF-ing media in order to smear the Right.

  5. Michael, you are so clueless. I think what the woman did could indeed be argued as assault under the circumstances. However, that does not absolve responsibility for the assault that was then committed on her.

    Back in the day, when things like this happened in the Army, the MPs would come, haul everyone involved into the MP station, then call their First Sergeant to come down to the station, sign for them and handle the matter at the company level. End of story; no report (assuming there were no serious injuries).

    I don’t know who it is you think you’re addressing, but I am acutely aware of the kind of stunts that are sometimes pulled by activists from both sides and how they will often milk a single event for everything it’s worth, use the media in a sometimes deceptive manner (though the media has their own tactics as well), and getting things blown totally out of proportion.

    However, as for apologizing to the TAH thugs who supported and defended assaulting a woman on the streets, yeah – don’t hold your breath.

  6. “I mean it isn’t far from what we saw in the thirties, where all of a sudden, political parties started showing up in uniform.”
    Doofus might want to Google the 30’s political parties in Germany which is what I think he was referring to. Several groups were showing up in uniforms ranging from the left to the far left. Communists and, after a power struggle, The National Socialist (Nazi) party. Too bad he’s such an idiot he doesn’t know this.
    An unknown person rushes at a candidate for a major office and shoves something towards him. She is lucky she wasn’t clotheslined onto the ground and hogtied. Better safe than sorry nowadays.

  7. Force was justified to stop her and to restrain her. Any force applied beyond that is without question a lack of judgement, a lack of self-control, and completely unjustified. The kind of people who would go beyond that are exactly the kind of people who do NOT belong in any type of law enforcement or security-related role.

  8. Something tells me this will not get the national coverage like we had with radical activist’s attempted assault of Rand Paul.

    Unfortunately for Dr. Rowland, she’s a Republican, so attempted assault is a non-issue for the MF-ing media, just as the attempted assault against Rand Paul was a non-issue for them.

  9. I wonder if Chrissy Matthews and the rest of the MF-ing media will be making a national story out of this: SHOCKING! … Unhinged MoveOn.org Goon Chokes Jesse Kelly Supporter (Video)

    Or this: Far Left Hoodlum Disrupts National Anthem at Tea Party Rally (Video)

    Something tells me that Chrissy won’t be making any statements like “choking people is left-wing by its very nature” or “disrespecting the national anthem is left-wing by its very nature”.
