If there are any old infantrymen from the Desert Storm veterans of the 1st Battalion 41st Infantry, 2d Armored Division (Forward) lurking around who haven’t heard, we’re planning a 20th reunion for February 18th in a VFW hall in Las Vegas. There are about 53 guys signed up for it, so far, entonces it may become a raucous affair.

The 18th, of course is the twentieth anniversary of the beginning of 1/41’s own personal “Ground Phase” of Desert Storm when we became the first US infantry battalion to enter Iraq more than a week before the rest of the Army followed us. I wrote about that night here.
Why can’t you plan it for the end of January at the same time as the SHOT show???? Grrrrrrr……
