  1. We’ll be up there in three weeks. Spending Memorial Day Weekend with my brother there in the springs. He explains it really sucks to get up in the morning and step out on the front porch to see the Air Force Academy and front range of the Rockies and occasionally Pikes Peak.

  2. TSO,

Actually the weather isn’t that bad. Sure, you get the occasional blizzard or wind storm in the winter and spring, but it is a great four-season climate, with wonderful dry, sunny days, even in winter, and of course limitless outdoor activities. 250-300 sunny days a year? Coloradans like to promote the myth of lousy weather so more people don’t move here…..

  3. You mean more moonbat liberals, Joe. I remember living in Denver and Fort Collins as a kid, and later in my teens in Lakewood. Wasn’t so batshit crazy with the idiots moving in back then, and Boulder was easily avoided.

Liberals are kinda like locusts. Find a place, infest it, turn it into a desolate wilderness, then move on to the next place.

  4. My ass it is. It’s a shithole. And guess who made it that way? I also remember when Taos and Santa Fe were great towns. Now they’re also liberal hippie shitholes inhabited by the people who were too crazy for LA or San Fran.

  5. Yeah, Boulder is such a s**thole that real estate prices are through the roof, and people are moving there in droves despite the high cost of living. Kind of reminds me of the saying, “I became a soldier so my son could become a merchant so his son could become an artist”. Well, thanks to a lot of sacrifices by our soldiers (you also?), a bunch of artists and like-minded bohemians can thrive in a place like Boulder. If you served, you should be proud you helped places like Boulder exist. You would prefer, perhaps, that this country should resemble Sparta?

  6. “I became a soldier so my son could become a merchant so his son could become an artist who loathes soldiers and merchants.”

…fixed it for ya’. No need to thank me…it’s what I do.

  7. Joe, FYI, real estate is expensive in Boulder compared to surrounding areas, to be sure–but they’re still tanking like everywhere else.

  8. OK, later today we’ll start putting our sick and infirm out on the hillsides for the wolves to eat…..
