Seriously, the first antiwar protest I ever attended in Washington DC (back when I was young – still in my 40’s, and did that sort of thing… ;-)), which was a veterans’ protest, there was a female Vietnam vet there – a nurse, I think – who had herself wrapped in a flag. However, it was not her intention to burn it. I don’t think she’s around anymore. Probably still have the video of that somewhere though…she’s probably in it. I know I am..
