Vice President JD Vance: California’s fraud is worse than that of Minnesota

Vice President JD Vance said that California’s fraud is worse than that of Minnesota. Vance said this on the wake of the discovery of approximately $7billion worth of fraud in California. Vance also mentioned the fact that anti ICE efforts have mainly been a blue-state issue, with no similarly scaled action in the red states. Vance visited Minneapolis in hopes of deescalating the situation and called for Minnesota officials to meet him halfway.

From New York Post:

“I think we have a fraud problem that is much worse than California than it is in Minnesota,” Vance said in an interview Thursday, noting the head of US Small Business Administration gave him the shocking news.

“This is unfortunately a problem that is much bigger than Minnesota.”

The vice president also said efforts to block immigration enforcement were a uniquely blue-state phenomenon, adding that some Democratic-led states are engaged in a “small-scale civil war” with the federal government over immigration.

“You look at red states like Texas, but blue cities like Austin. You do not see this level of chaos over the enforcement of immigration laws,” he said.

His remarks come as governors like California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom have stepped up their opposition ICE activity.

Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security launched a major fraud investigation in Minnesota targeting refugee applications, with officials reexamining thousands of cases and referring suspected violations to ICE.

The Trump administration has also paused federal child care funding to Minnesota, blaming alleged fraud in daycare programs, and has imposed new documentation requirements — including attendance records and receipts — before releasing payments to any state, CBS reported.

  1. Now really, is anyone really surprised about fraud on the PDRK (peepuls demokratik repugnant of kaliphornya) is worse than minisomalia?? Anyone? Beuler? Beuler?

  2. Was in Austin Texas back in 2010 for the National Hurricane Conference and I didn’t see anyone with a cowboy hat or boota, all I saw were college kids with tattoos and skin whiter than the paper I’m typing on. Speaking of typing, I still have store bought typewriter paper but you have to go on Ebay to buy it now.

  3. I’d bet that that the fraud involved in their spectacular clusterfuck of a rail project alone exceeds all of Minnesota’s fraud.

    1. If it ever opens the stations will be 25 years old before they see their first passenger and in need of upgrade and replacement.

  4. Someone let Commissar know his beloved California is under attack. I need some BS stats defending this %^^#hole state and explaining how it is all Trump’s fault, and I need it now!

  5. The fraud in CA is “systemic”, to borrow a word the progtards love to overuse.

Every aspect of the state and local governments are rife with waste. 20 years since I left and I haven’t regretted it for one second.

      1. Has anybody else noticed that according to the media, everything is now “historic”? A big chunk of the country is supposed to get a pile of snow this weekend and it is “historic”.

            1. Locals aren’t venturing out here in OK, but it’s still kinda underwhelming after the panic-buying of food so far.

        1. They like to use “unprecedented” too. Everything was unprecedented until someone did it for the first time, then there was a precedent.

        2. It’s like nothing happened before this weekend.
I’m sorry, I was in Binghamton when Winter Storm Gail blew through just before Xmas 2020. The snow totals then are more than double what we’re expecting.
I’m ready to plow out the driveway this afternoon and again tomorrow just so I don’t overwork the side by side, and I may need 4wd to get up and down the hill outside the house, but Blizzard of 77 or 93 level snow? GTFOH.

  6. Today the people of Minneapolis found out that when you shoot at ICE agents that can shoot back.

  7. CBP shoot and kill man armed with 9MM & 2 clips at the below location after scuffling with agents. Mogi-apolis continues draw out the worst of Dem agitators…

    1. The governor and mayor did invite them. Like a wise man once said: “Plant taters, get taters”.

      1. Who straps on a 9mm military style pistol with extra mags to go wrestle with armed ICE officers to try to obstruct their apprehension of illegal aliens who have been ordered deported?? Clearly, an award winner.

          1. Yes, I Can’t Understand. Common Sense, that is. You would think Jethro here would have a clue what bullets do to flesh and take a wide berth to having that happen to himself. But, alas. At least we saved the trial and prison money it would have taken to have him reach enlightenment.

Meanwhile, the Tibetan monks are strolling through NC on a walk for peace. Seems we need to reroute them to Minneapolis to help with the insanity.

            1. Let’s hope that they have some long underwear to go under those robes if they do go that far North!

            2. Mom and Dad told him not to go– you’d think at 37 he’d realize they’re not full of sh*t.

          2. Well, maybe his parents should have raised him better! Or, at the very least, smarter!!!

I’ll bet that they were the type to let him play in the street and then yell at the drivers of cars for DRIVING CAR DOWN THE STREET!!

          3. Yeah. The media is sticking to their victim portrayal methods instead of the facts (Michael Brown was a “gentle giant”; Trayvon Martin was “minding his own business), and so on.

      1. NOW he calls out the Guard…
        2 bodies too late…what a putz!
I managed to live 60 years and have NEVER been shot by the police. Not even once. Ya know, this guy have some help hints. My favorite is “if the police have to come and get you, they’re binging an ass kickin’ with them”.

      1. Of course he has face and neck tattoos!!! He makes outstanding life choices!!

I have nothing against anyone that wants or has face or neck tattoos if they are productive and that’s their thing. This guy is a POS from the get go!!

        1. I have no problem with tattoos. But anyone with face tattoos has been to prison, or they will be.
