Trump: ‘Peace in the Middle East’ Is ‘Very Close’

Nick Gilbertson

President Donald Trump said Friday that his administration is “very close” to reaching “peace in the Middle East” after Hamas agreed to peace talks.

Trump released a video on Truth Social, thanking key Middle East countries that helped foster the potential for serious peace talks and Hamas’s agreement to release the remaining hostages in their captivity.

“I want to thank the countries that helped me put this together: Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and so many others,” Trump said. “So many people fought so hard. This is a big day. We’ll see how it all turns out. We have to get the final word down and concrete.”

“Very importantly, I look forward to having the hostages come home to their parents and having some of the hostages, unfortunately, you know, the condition they’re in, come home, likewise to their parents, because their parents wanted them just as much as though that young man or young woman were alive,” he added.

“If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas,” he wrote.

According to Al Jazeera Hamas has quickly agreed to return the hostages, as well as handing Gaza over to an independent body of Palestinian technocrats. Whoever they are. The Pali’s have never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity thus far, so stand by to be disappointed once again.

  1. It seems hamas has yet to accept all of the terms. I fully expect them to do something to torpedo the peace deal in the near future. Quite frankly I figure they will wait until the “new gaza admin” is in place then perform a full coup, putting themselves back in charge. I seriously doubt they will disarm and become peaceful. Their whole existence depends on virtually unending conflict, total control and the end to Israel.

I give the new deal 2 weeks before the shooting starts and hamas either eliminates the new admin or drives them out. I’d like to be wrong but I doubt I am other than possibly the time frame. IMO as long as hamas lives there will never be peace.

    1. Concur. I’m trying very hard to be optimistic about this. I’m also very realistic about this. If this deal lasts more than two weeks, it’ll be a modern day miracle.

      1. You’re a better person than I. I have zero hope, zero belief, zero optimism. What I do have is a prediction.

Hamas “says” they will release all the hostages since Israel has agreed to a defensive only position. Hamas will once again blow up some of its’ own people, claim Israel did it, and use that as an excuse to walk away from the deal.

In the interim, they will use the lull to reposition their savages, priming them for the next round. The closest I can come to a “hope” is that Trump and Israel will do as they’ve threatened and rain hell arrange their longed-for meeting with their maker. Then bounce the rubble.

          1. Carpet bomb all of gaza.. as it was said in a movie “it’s the only way to be sure”..

          2. Gaza isn’t that big.. a single flight of Buffs should be able to government of it in a couple passes…

        1. Offer a gold coin per Hamas head.

The locals will turn on and depopulate Hamas in a day.

          Popcorn?

          1. Make it a Trump gold coin and two-birds-one-coin. Liberal loonies heads will explode, Hamas heads will be delivered.

  2. I’d trust these goat-fuckers about as far as I could throw one. I got a feeling peace with Israel and Israel in pieces are a confusing concept to the inbreeds.

  3. Can you say Yasser Arafat?
I knew you could, boys and girls

    1. IMHO, the only way to have peace in the Middle East right now is to kill so many Muslims that they are scared to fight. 66% of the military aged males will be a start – may have to do 50% of the breeding aged females as well.
