Sniper shoots at ICE facility, one dead and two injured

A shooter took aim at an ICE facility, resulting in one dead and two injured. The sniper was found dead on the roof and two detainees were injured. Dallas authorities are still investigating this event.

From WFAA:

Sources confirmed that one shooter was found dead on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office.

Two detainees were killed in the shooting, police sources said. One person was injured, sources said. More details were not immediately available.

There is still a massive police presence at the scene. The Texas Department of Transportation cameras in the area showed dozens of police and emergency vehicles along the access road off I-35E.

Parts of I-35E were shut down in both directions while officials responded to the scene, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

In a statement, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem confirmed there was a shooting at a Dallas ICE facility.

“Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities,” Noem said. “The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound. While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”

        1. Someone at the latest news conference stated that the sniper, excuse me, shooter, fired at a van entering the facility. I’m assuming that the van was probably one with no windows and the shooter may have figured that he was gonna kill ICE people.

              1. I guess 30-06 is back en vogue.

  5. There is no reason for a conservative to do this. Shooting a detainee is counterproductive given that the idea was to deport the multitude of illegal aliens and the detainees are in that process.

    I’m thinking this is more of a false flag incident but getting a willing suicidal shooter is a puzzler. The idea that putting the detainees in an open area then shooting them to show how vulnerable they are to try and stop rounding them up is really bizarre but I don’t think it is out of the question for the far extreme left.

      We watched the LIVE press conference with the Dallas Mayor and Ted Cruz.

      There is indeed a spiritual revival happening. Dallas Mayor spoke mostly about praying and that he believes in the power of prayer. Ted Cruz and others stated this has to stop. Even John Fetterman said the Left needs to stop with “Nazi/Facist” comments.

      How can Maxine Watters and Jasmine Crockett sleep at night with their hate filling comments…
