The Sentinels are always vigilent. That said, don’t forget the rest of The Old Guard. Funeral schedules in ANC are rarely affected by weather, and my comrades are in the cemetery now, in blues and boots, conducting funerals along with our sister services.

My business takes me onto most of the local military bases in the D.C. area. Often when I go onto Ft. Myer I see the Old Guard setting up or conducting funerals for deceased service members. I am always struck by their professionalism and dedication.
