ICE attack

Nope, not a duplicate of thebesigs column Tuesday Border Patrol,  this happened the 4th and in a different place.

State and federal officials announced on Monday that 10 people were arrested for engaging in a “planned ambush” on an ICE detention facility in Texas over the Fourth of July holiday.

The individuals were charged with attempted murder of a federal officer, according to court records.

The incident occurred at the Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas, on Friday, according to Nancy Larson, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas.

The article says about a dozen folks in dark military-style clothes (Aw, how sweet, they’re playing dress-up!) began shooting fireworks and tearing stuff up at the facility. Admittedly most fireworks are more of a nuisance than a danger – but some can ruin your day. We’re big fans of the mortar-type star shells – pretty sure you could ruin someone’s day with one of them.

Larson said the incident “was a planned ambush with the intent to kill ICE corrections officers.”

Some individuals drew correction officers out of the facility using the fireworks while others damaged vehicles and vandalized the facility with graffiti, Larson said.

About this time the SHTF and it got more serious.

When an Alvarado police officer arrived on the scene, one of the individuals shot him in the neck. Another individual shot 20 to 30 rounds at the facility correction officers, according to Larson.

The suspects fled the scene, but all were later arrested. Subsequent searches turned up two AR-15s in the area, as well as 12 sets of body armor, spare magazines, rattle cans of paint, and a flag (above). Somehow they just don’t seem to be MAGA Amish?

Bradford Morris, who goes by Megan, was one of the suspects that allegedly fled the scene, according to court records. He was stopped a short while later, with a magazine clip and Kevlar vests.

Morris allegedly told police that he met some people online who wanted to “make a little noise” at the detention center, according to court records.

The officer shot is expected to recover. The U.S. Attorney’s office is treating this as they should, and all arrested are being charged with attempted murder of a Federal officer and three counts of discharging a firearm relating to a crime of violence. We can only hope they keep plea-bargains off the table as much as possible.

They committed the FA… looks like they now get to the FO stage. I suspect they will not like it.

      1. I watched some of that earlier. I did see a short, pot bellied, man wearing only a jock strap and some classy make up. He had a medic bag thrown over his shoulder and a devil may care look in his eyes. He also has a “Biden 2028” pin on the pack so it seems legit.

  1. I read somewhere the individuals were from an Antifa group from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

I’ll post the link if I can find it.

Not his first rodeo. He was arrested in 2020 for aggravated assault:

      2. The Lance Corporal Underground, were such an organization to exist, would not claim this turd.

        1. Other Than Honorable Discharge”

I am willing to bet he was a shitbag before, during and after his enlistment.

    1. Why do I get the feeling that they are not ready for prime time?
Not meaning to underestimate their ability to do harm but …

    2. There are 12 total.

There is a Mexican national being charged separately from the big 10 losers.

  2. Just so everyone is clear that was the third of FIVE attacks that occurred over an eight day period that involved explosive devices, vandalising equipment and assaulting personnel.

An attack in Portland by three women occurred June 26, where the same pattern (launch fireworks to draw out personnel while vandalising vehicles and then assault responders).

In the first attack they were armed with large knives, some of which they tried to throw at Federal Agents. Three women were arrested.

A more complex attack occurred in Portland on July 4th, where they used bolt cutters to cut communication lines and threw explosives at officers as well as physically assaulting several.

In Van Nuys four were arrested for sabotage on July 4th after disabling a border patrol vehicle with home made caltrops. No agents were assaulted.

There may have been other attacks. The legacy media either isn’t reporting them at all (MSNBC) or giving it the minimum. They have a deplorable lack of curiosity about orchestrated and coordinated attacks all occurring on July 4th involving multiple subjects armed with “assault rifles”. Normally that is their cup of tea.

  3. Antifa-aligned activist networks are raising funds for the suspects on GiveSendGo. So far, the GiveSendGo campaign created by the so-called “DFW Support Committee” has collected more than $11,160 in contributions from anonymous donors, working toward a $20,000 goal.

Please note that most of the contributors are “Anonymous Givers”:

  4. How did these shitbirds get body armor?? I thought that one had to be in Law Enforcement, Security, etc We used body armor on my job and during the 70’s after NYPD LEO’s were killed by body wearing armor perps, a law was put into effect that one couldn’t buy body armor unless you were a member of the above type of jobs I mentioned.

    1. You must live in New York. That is the only place with a ban on body armor and there is also an exception for security and LE professionals.

A number of states make it illegal to wear body armor during a crime and in New Jersey felons are prohibited from possession. Everywhere else it is 100% legal. At one time I had sets for all of my primary family members that I had mostly picked up at crazy fire sale prices.

        1. Haven’t seen a phone book this decade.

          (3) level 5 rated porcelain floor tiles stacked and held together with some epoxy is good for a few level III rifle hits. 100 Walmart shopping bags lightly melted together and formed makes great IIIa stuff. Very lightweight. A polyethylene welders cape cut and stacked with 12 layers glued together will also run around IIIa. An old sailboat sail will work as well.

Lots of how to videos out there.

          1. I was going to make HDPE plates from old milk jugs with tile strike face but did the math on time/reward… bought HESCO 4401s instead.

There are many good ‘roll your own’ vids out there.

Body armor is heavy and incident-avoidance is a thing.

      1. Colorado has tried a number of times to ban armor. I’m sure they’ll get it done in the next few years..

    2. I have to wonder how many of these people buy a “tactical vest” in the belief that it’s body armor. I reckon they’ll find out the truth soon enough.

  5. We were told, no we lectured to, by Dems/Lars that politicians instigating violent clashes with police/federal agents was a criminal offense/insurrection that punishable by removal from office and decades in prison? These are the same assholes that chirped ‘J6! J6! J6!’ for five fucking years and are out assaulting local & federal officers for taking away their “voter base”.

I’ll tell why? The Capitol Police ‘protect’ them and ICE Agent protect us. They don’t a fuck about us is why.

    1. Does this mean we can hold them without bail for five years? I know the one surviving shooter has a $10,000,000 bond, but that seems low for the attempted murder of a federal agent, when others were held with no bond for vandalism charges.

    2. Wasn’t it Maxine Watters who suggested, nay, demanded!!!!!, that anyplace a republican was seen in public should be endlessly harassed at whatever place they were seen at? Restaurants, theaters, public events, with or without family members or friends in their company?

Sounds like inviting and inciting violence on those who don’t espouse the democrat views or ideas.

  6. This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and they’ll be lucky to live through it.

      1. I’m strictly defensive when it comes to that, 5JC. I’m not taking the fight to anyone, I won’t be the one to open the dance.

  7. These tools love to use video game and other symbology to cosplay under.

If you see a symbol which you’re unfamiliar presume that person is an unhinged leftbot and unass the AO…. the stench of BO and cross-sex hormones should warn you first.

Work your area study and plan for violence from unhinged retards.

    1. I played that video game. It was pretty good, but it is insane to use an ideology from a fictional terrorist group and apply it to the real world.

    1. I’m taking your “prepare” thing to heart.

So, when I was at the base today I went to the Commissary and bought these. The plan is to feed them to any Antifa I come across by telling them they are experimental military rations full of weed and Xanax to prevent PTSD.

When they are laying on the ground with an intestine disorder I can whack them with a shovel and repurpose their body armor and gunz. Sadly mine were all lost when a tornado came through last month.

  8. I am at the local base for a medical appointment. They are at Threatcon Bravo and I was nearly late for the appointment as they had all the traffic funnelled into two lanes. I only come down at most about once a month to pickup meat at the commissary and haven’t seen security this active in years.

    1. Sign on the door at the local CU this morning telling me to
remove all masks , sunglasses, hats etc. for MY security.
      WTF?
They let me keep my shoes on though.

      1. Yeah, The Frank Reynolds School of Security Guarding highly recommends this signage be posted in order to prevent (gif).

  9. I’ve seen the pics of the “militants’ NONE of them look like they’ve ever bothered to get a job and move out of their parents” basement! Their herders and handlers are getting desperate to make a martyr out of some of them.

  10. I am looking forward to the day when I read about the results of an attack on ICE in AW1Ed’s “Daily FGS” article.

    1. Didn’t somebody say (on this thread or another) that one of those arrested proclaimed (to paraphrase) … I didn’t sign up for this?

Welcome to the FO part of the FA equation.

    1. Tracking.

I’m not the largest fan of over- or under-policing. There’s a happy medium we should strive for.

But these assholes are going to push and pull the po’ into a reaction. A well-deserved reaction.

Per usual, the Commie will destroy and good natured, hard working, honest Americans will have to clean up the mess.

      FOAD you red menace.

      1. At that raid, professional protesters with reprinted signs were waiting.. EVERYONE thats leaking this info, as well as those financing the protests need to be found and prosecuted to the fullest..
