3. The medicare cuts for illegals probably will make smaller rural hospitals go broke. I know ours would have already gone broke without it.

   1. Rural hospitals in border states have been going broke treating illegals for decades. They use the ER as primary care, can’t be turned away. Medicare bailed on the Douglas AZ hospital in 2015 because illegals were 95% of their business. Shut it right down.

      1. It is about 20% locally. But 20% is more than enough to cause the hospital to go under. I don’t use the local hospital, I simply know too many people up there, but it is an important resource which I prefer for it not to go under.

         1. Douglas hospital was 100yds from the border. Medicare was barely keeping them afloat. They couldn’t meet payroll, couldn’t keep good employees, medicare pulled the plug because they could no longer operate safely.

4. I wouldn’t let any of those Democrat “Doctors” approach me with a stethoscope or blood pressure cuff, much less a thermometer.

      1. Well no, they are all actually medical doctors. A large percentage of Congress members actually are doctors as their day job, about 3.5% or ten times the number of doctors in the general population.

         Dems are trying to do anything to improve their image and credibility. Borrowing some from their day jobs is one way to do that.

            1. No, but there are a lot of them. 31% of the house and 46% of the Senate members have law degrees.
