Joe Biden signatures allegedly done by autopen

It didn’t help Joe Biden that many doubted his competency, lucidity, and ability to coherently formulate a thought… Or to decide based on informed consent. Allegations have been posted on X suggesting that many of Joe Biden’s signatures were signed by an automatic pen. If these allegations are true, then there is the possibility that Joe Biden wasn’t even present when many of these orders were signed.

From Fox News:

The majority of official documents signed by President Joe Biden allegedly used the same autopen signature, reinvigorating concerns over the former president’s mental acuity and if he “actually ordered the signature of relevant legal documents,” a report published by an arm of the Heritage Foundation found.

“WHOEVER CONTROLLED THE AUTOPEN CONTROLLED THE PRESIDENCY,” the Oversight Project, which is an initiative within the conservative Heritage Foundation that investigates the government to bolster transparency, posted to X on Thursday.

“We gathered every document we could find with Biden’s signature over the course of his presidency. All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year. Here is the autopen signature,” the group claimed on X, accompanied by photo examples.

Autopen signatures are ones that are automatically produced by a machine, as opposed to an authentic, handwritten signature.

The Oversight Project posted three examples showing Biden’s signature, including two executive orders and the president’s announcement he was bowing out of the 2024 presidential race. The signature on the two executive orders, one of which was signed in 2022 and the other in 2024, showed the same signature that included what appeared to be a line, followed by “R. Biden Jr.”

Biden’s signature on the document announcing his departure from the 2024 race varied from the other two posted by the Oversight Project, showing a signature that wasn’t as clear as the one on the executive orders.

  1. It is going to be hard to prove and invalidate all those laws, orders, and memorabilia. Even when Sleepy Joe was at the Beach and the signature was done at the White House, all it takes is a phone call to make it authentic.

    1. Telling someone to auto sign on your behalf, while knowing what you’re signing for is one thing. This is not what is being argued. What is being argued is whether Biden was aware of such authorization or not. There’s a reason for Trump’s reasoning:

      New York Post:

President Biden had no clue whether or not he signed a critical executive order during a conversation last year with Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, who admitted he left the meeting fearing the nation is in “serious trouble.”

An addled Biden insisted to the Louisiana lawmaker that he never issued the order to freeze new liquid natural gas export permits — even though he signed off on it less than a month earlier.

Johnson told the Free Press’ Bari Weiss he didn’t believe Biden was lying, but was left to believe the then-81-year-old leader “genuinely didn’t know what he had signed.”

As the public saw, Biden fluctuated from being lucid to not exactly being lucid, which helped saved him from prosecution:

      NBC News:

“He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 — when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’),” the report said.

Biden also had difficulty remembering the timing of his son Beau’s death, as well as a debate about Afghanistan, the report said.

“He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died,” the report said.

    2. I’m no lawer, but my line of thinking is that a Memorandum for Record would be a hell of a lot better than a phone call.

    3. It won’t matter because the federal courts will not consider any claims that the subject documents are invalid, even if it is probable that Gropey Joe had no knowledge of them. But the court of public opinion may be otherwise.

  2. Who knew that when The JEF said he had a phone and a pen that it was an “Auto pen”? “Never under estimate Joe’s ability to f*ck things up.”

    1. I am pretty sure Joe has no idea who, what, when, or where he has f#&ked things up.

He was always a self-serving dumbass, which, combined with his impairment, offered him up as the perfect vessel while POTUS.

    1. I’d think a verifiable e-Signature would carry more weight legally than an autopen. I’m absolutely certain that Joe had no clue that most of the documents he signed even existed. But, what “I’m certain” of doesn’t mean shit in court. How does one prove what we all know? It is a puzzlement.

      1. Proof won’t matter in federal courts because they will refuse to consider it on the grounds this is a political matter solely within the discretion of the presidency.

        1. Or the federal courts will rule that whoever might bring this whole f**kup to court “has no standing” to seek relief.

  3. Don’t worry, seagull will show up to explain why it’s perfectly fine that a staffer was running the govt while Joe couldn’t even wipe the drool from his chin..

    1. NOBODY ELECTED THE AUTO PEN! Why was it given so much power and access to Chuck Schmuer’s tax records?

      1. They’ll argue that FJB was incoherent, in a state of confusion, and incapacitated – so he couldn’t possibly sign the instrument (Executive Order or Preemptive Pardon) on his own, so a family member signed on his behalf.

    2. This is not Commissar, but one of the funny home staff. I am sorry that he cannot participate on this thread right now. The cooks told us that he messed with the pressure cooker and ended up with the lid hitting his face. The cooks said that when the lid hit his face, it made the sound that normally is made when something hollow is hit. He has a dent on his forehead. He is experiencing the headache he normally is for This Aint Hell and for the funny home.

  4. I saw what the auto pen looked like and I thought all this time that it was a battery operated pen that a person held and wrote a signiture of someone else and came out just like the real persons signiture.

    1. I run into a lot of digital signature thinga majigs lately.
Seems they are just a plastic pen shaped stick attatched to a
small digital touchscreen by a plastic string (fake cable).
I don’t like signing my name on them.
If I sign my name on a piece of paper and then digitally scan
it, that’s my signature but if I sign a digital touch screen, that is something very different and I do not trust it.
      Just a hunch.

      1. My Publix Phrmacy has the touch screen/credit card box with no more string blank pens, you just use your finger to cursive your name in which is very hard so I just scribble it in. My doctors and hospital use the same digital screens.

      1. BUZZ BUZZ pen came out in 1966-1972. Was in the Navy when it first came out. biden could have got this pen on
ebay. writes words that sounds like how biden talks.

    2. There have been several different designs over the last 200+ years.

The most reliable (as in, trustworthiness – not accuracy) are the older designs that connect to two+ pens via pantographic arms to a pen that is physically controlled by the actual person doing the signing (incidentally, called a “polygraph”). I believe they were first designed for check signing shortly after the Revolution.

The one Brandon’s sleigh-drivers used is most likely one of the modern designs that simply recreates a recording of the signature.

It would be interesting to see any graphological studies on how accurate they are (the machine holds the pen vertically, while we write with a pen at shifting angles). Perhaps that would only be interesting to me.

  5. This should bring about a public statement by Joe Biden,
whether a video press conference, or an audio or video statement,
but NOT a press quote in print,
which would smell of inner circle fakery
(to cover up previous inner circle fakery).

Is Joe up for 5 minute video show?

BONUS – Hunter (while claiming broke in Californy)
on vacay in South Africa, in $500 (US) a day digs,
a trip that required (?) a staff of 18 Secret Service.

    No more of that.
    https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-revokes-hunter-bidens-secret-service-effective-immediately-2046191

      1. Biden can’t revoke those Secret Service details… his staff no longer has access to the autopen.

I’m sure you meant to type “Trump ought to…”

      2. Congress passed a law during Clinton’s tenure that would have limited secret service protection to only 10 years for former presidents. Bush 43 would have been the first potus to be affected by this (Bush was also the first prez to benefit from annual pay bump from 200k to 400k). Congress rescinded this law during Scoamf’s term.

  6. I worked for a GO who periodically—very judiciously—used an auto pen. Always when the need was timely and he was physically unable to sign. Typically the SJA (lawyer) was in the room, and it was his XO (a colonel) who was doing the work.

I never had a doubt about his mental capacity when he did it.

With Biden, I don’t believe any of these controls were in place and I have no confidence it wasn’t being abused. Add in Speaker Johnson’s recent comments he talked to Biden about EOs he had (supposedly) signed and Biden denied having signed them at all, and it’s clear something incredibly shady is afoot. However, because one party puts their politics over anything else, it will be impossible to prove and nothing will ever come of it.

Republicans need to get Johnson’s statement turned into sworn testimony time now and get a parade of former White House staffers on record.

    1. It’d be interesting if the autopen that was used kept track of when it signed a signature and time/date stamped a record. Compare it to dates he signed an Executive Order, Proclamation, Memorandum, Notice (or whatever), then compare it against his travel itinerary, schedule, or whereabouts.

Of the over 400 documents he signed, my instincts tell me the ones that were the most controversial were signed by autopen while he was taking his mid-morning or mid-afternoon nap, having ice cream, traveling, or in between his “Depends” changes.

      1. “signed by autopen while he was taking his mid-morning or mid-afternoon nap, having ice cream, traveling, or in between his “Depends” changes.”

That only leaves around 20 minutes left in the day.
