Fox News reports on Secretary of Defense Robert Gates naming lead panelists to investigate the events leading up to the Fort Hood massacre to see if they can find a way to prevent a repeat of the incident;
Army Secretary Togo West and former chief of naval operations Adm. Vernon Clark will head the 45-day review.
“The shootings at Fort Hood raise a number of troubling questions that demand complete but prompt answers,” Gates told a Pentagon news conference. He said the review would seek to ensure the health and safety of military members and their families.
Yeah, I really don’t think DoD is interested in the facts. I get the impression that the military is more interested in covering up than investigating. Why? Well, someday I’ll tell you – let’s just say that investigators thus far have been more interested in ancillary bullshit than the facts of the murders.
Over half of the investigators on this had parents that were first cousins or siblings. That’s what I heard anyway. But haven’t met any of them so don’t know for sure.
Prediction of investigation results:
Poor Hasan was treated badly by his peers so he was mentally tortured into embracing a self-perverted version of the peace-loving religion of his parents. The attack was criminal, not terroristic, and it was perpetrated by a deranged individual acting alone. Case closed.

And the media sluts need to be extra special triple super duper sure before they link something like this ‘event’/’incident’/(TERRORIST ATTACK)to jihadi values, but they sprinted past the finish line with the ‘news’ that the guy was dead. D.E.A.D.
They need to find someone to remove the panties betwixt their cheeks about Teh Evil Blogger and that there highly improper blog posting and focus on the actual attack.
It seems kinda obvious that politics are at play here. And maybe that is inevitable and something that will never go away. But WTF about the actual human beings on bases/posts that have to wonder if investigators are merely gathering political capital or sincerely looking to protect us and our spouses from something like this happening again?
