1. My first reaction is that some of these specimens have to be trolling, that no one could unintentionally be so ignorant.

   Where’s all the crusty CSMs?

   1. Those are no longer allowed, I’m afraid. CSM’s must first and foremost be thoroughly schooled in the woke arts.

      1. This…I had a longish post but deleted it. The gist of it was that the classic crusty CSMs still serving are all at the O-7 level or higher and can’t risk their careers over what they might have previously done. There are a handful of well-mentored semi-crusty CSMs at the BDE level, but they too have moved out of true crustiness. Nowadays, the historically crusty CSM, the dreaded BN CSM, is mostly going to be a younger (compared to us) type who identifies more with the “look at me!” crowd than with the “bleed green” crowd.
