ABC’s late night news program “Nightline” is pandering to the woke with their series entitled “Identity Denied: Trans in America.” In a recent installment the guest was Department of Health and Human Services assistant secretary Admiral Rachel Lavine, formerly Pennsylvania’s Health Secretary during the Covid debacle and also formerly named Richard.

Nightline co-anchor Juju Chang served Levine a lob about children quite correctly being too immature to make life-altering decisions. His reply was straight party line.

Some American children are “going through the wrong puberty,” says Rachel Levine, the self-described “transgender” assistant secretary at the Department of Health and Human Services.

“Adolescence is hard and puberty is hard. What if you’re going through the wrong puberty? What if you inside feel that you are female, but now you’re going through a male puberty?” Levine said during a recent appearance in the first installment of the ABC Nightline series, Identity Denied: Trans in America.

Levine, the highest-ranking openly transgender federal official in the United States, made these remarks after being asked to respond to people who say children should wait until they are at least 18 years of age before dabbling in sex-related interventions.

After being told by Nightline co-anchor Juju Chang that the argument is children are “too young to know,” Levine said, “I want to be clear that for prepubertal children, there are no medical procedures done. The standard of care allows them to explore that with therapy.”

  1. It’s a woke pandemic, sweeping our nation’s impressionable kids, and embraced by an ill-informed and misdirected generation that’s old enough to be parents. Further, our generations–GenX and Boomers–contain enough enablers to let the younger generations continue drinking the Kool-Aid.

    I’m a practical sort, and while I won’t disgust the readers with details, let’s just say that somewhere deeply embedded in my DNA is the knowledge that adults engage in consensual intimacy for one reason: procreation. My wife and I have had our share of fun, but we also have five kids. If we suddenly decided that we were born in the wrong bodies and wanted to “switch genders”, guess what? She’ll still be the so-called “birthing person”. You can butcher yourself, take hormones, and wear whatever you want, but until they develop chromosome replacement surguery, you’ll never truly be a [insert non-birth gender here].

Of course, our generations’ enablers come in multiple forms, from a geriatric Chief Executive who hires based on inclusiveness to a completely legit 4-Star Admiral who worked his her way up the ranks. USPHA or not, that “promotion” was a slap in the face to everyone who was unable to rank up for various reasons, be they a LCpl who ETS’ed before he wanted to or a CAPT who seemed to be guaranteed to see Stars before she was unceremoniously canned because a subordinate made a complaint.

    1. Actually, we’re all good. The propaganda generators are feeding their misinformation with government support.

      The federal government has become our domestic enemy.

      America needs to change, to return to states’ autonomy. Term limits would go a long way towards cleansing the cancer that has obstructed the bowels of freedom.

      There are fewer than 1,000 people who need a new career/life vector. It would take about three days of “counseling” to rehabilitate their way of thinking.

  6. I don’t see a Pennsylvania retirement in the asst secy’s future.
    Reactions were harsh in PA on the state appointment.
    Then worse during covid,
    and the scandal of moving mom out to a hotel,
    while others were being moved in.
    Then worse on the Biden appointment.

    Anyone can guess a future landing spot.
    The choices outside Pennsylvania are aplenty.

        It’s not only the voters.
        Voters vote on the cards they are dealt in the PA May primaries.

        Both PA DEM and PA GOP state committees
        have been lousy for years,
        filtering off and weeding out early who they don’t want,
        and pumping up (and hiding the flaws) of those they do.

        The DEMS cleared the path so no one gets in the way
        of either (now) Gov. Shapiro or (now) Senator Fetterman.
        And the GOP was worse, setting up large primaries
        chock full of decent but almost invisible types,
        along with those who were not only media visible,
        but controversial. (Oz, Mastriano, etc.).

        A 50/50 state for decades,
        where the GOP led Assy and State Senate
        recently APPROVED enhanced mail in balloting,
        which obviously benefitted the DEMS.

        And as a result, Pennsylvania now looks like
        the most incompetent state in the USA.

When I was growing up, this shit was unheard of, boys played stickball, stoopball, dodgeball, punchball, chinese boxball (asses up) flipped baseball and Davey Crockett cards, Mumbly peg, hide and seek, tag, simon says, red light green light one two three, street roller skating. Girls also played a few of these games. Born at birth, a boy was a boy the same went for girls.

    1. Yes, we have shared a lifetime and all of that is integrated without having to be mentioned. Figuratively, we confer these “understandings” to the context of “our generation”.

      I’m guessing that we’re about eight years difference in age and I enjoy picking up on your musical knowledge, from a NYC, perspective.

  12. I don’t know about the rest of you all, but I never found anything about puberty traumatic. Also, the teenage females in my family seemed quite pleased about becoming young women. This trannie obsession is truly mental illness.

  15. This is actually a problem that solves itself. By making their kids sterile they are insuring the insanity doesn’t continue.

    I do feel sorry for the kids that are trying to detransition now and of course they can’t and their parents made permanent life altering catastrophic medical changes to their bodies because they were playing with Barbie dolls and liked the color pink. It’s one of those rhetorical; “How f****** stupid are you?” questions.

  16. What if you are suffering from dissociative identity disorder as a minor. Are you going to treat the disorder or acquiesce to one of the personalities belief that it is of the opposite gender?

    Also of the brain is not fully developed until the age of 26 and adult age is 18 do you believe the dysphoria of an immature child and perform permanent treatments based on that?
