The pic and the story of the Dutch cemetery is pretty moving… some people are still thankful for what we did for them… 80 years later.
Testify, Senior! My Daughter’s Soccer Mom Buddy’s husband is a Dutch National and pilot for Allegiant Airlines. Good guy. Have met his parents, Good Folks also. T____’s Grandfathers and Grand Uncles were part of the Dutch Resistance/Army and IIRC, their family has adopted a grave. I sent this pic to her and asked her to send it on with our Thanks.

I got stopped in my tracks when I reached the meme about the American Cemetery in the Netherlands.
To think that the people of a European country think so much of our boys, while there are mental midgets in this country defacing memorials all over the place is both lifting, and heart breaking.
