Boomer’s Sunday

It’s time once again, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, for Boomer’s Sunday, where I sort through the weekly offering of ‘toons and pick the best. Toons are provided by Boomer and AW1 Scott, with many others contributing.
Disclaimer: These toons are meant to amuse, entertain and inform, pretty much in that order. While I cull what I can, they are not specifically fact-checked, so expect a certain amount of artistic license.

Finally watched TGM. I saw Lady Gaga in the opening credits. It went downhill from there.

  1. Hunter Biden simply needs to be asked under oath – “Who is ‘The Big Guy’?”

He has one of three choices:

    1) My father, Joe Biden.
    2) Other name – in which case that person can be asked and confirmed with transactions.
    3) Say “I can’t remember” which ironically, is probably his best answer if he wants to evade the question and protect Joe Biden (if it is in fact, Joe).

  2. Spanky was my hero…and role model. I didn’t play a Little Rascal on TeeVee…I was one in real life…still am.

I try not to let the ones that piss me off…piss me off. Epic fail.

    Tanks, Mateys!

  3. Ha, the 11th top grossing movie of all time. They make an aviator sail a boat, hilarity. It’s just a shame there were no utlra-realistic shower scenes like in the original and none of the pilots were non-binary, sexually ambiguous pregnant men. They really have to catch up to the 21st Century Navy.

    1. I was amazed how quickly TC figured out how to instantly transition from close-hauled on a starboard tack with the lee rail awash to down-wind with a spin set.

      Among other amazing things.
      *sigh*

F*ck. I didn’t even notice she was there.

      1. TGM is an abbreviation for the latest documentary and how to of Naval Aviation, Top Gun Maverick, featuring a most favorite Hollywood Actor of Former Marine Aviator Mick and our Beloved AW1Ed, Tommy Boy Cruse. Seems as this version also includes factual actions of Naval Flight Test Engineers. And Aviators that can drive/fight a ship as well as they feel the need for speed to fly into a danger zone. Might wanna put any bad reviews on ice, man, they could lose that lovin’ feelin’ for you.

    1. The beavertail forestock and angle at which the picture’s being taken. Barrel goes straight to the buffer tube.
