Long week Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, I waded through a flood of toons culling the herd to a reasonable number. That was the idea anyway; we all know about plans and contact with the enemy. These toons came in after the final cut but are too good to let languish until next Sunday.

The one in Russian kind of makes sense. At least to a commie.
At the top it says “counter industrial plan arithmetic”.
It says “2 + 2 plus worker enthusiasm equals 5”.
Maybe a bit of a play on the Soviets’s 5 year plans.
I can imagine that in their jacked up system that “worker enthusiasm” was a bit of a problem.

I like the join the Navy one. We had the saying when I was in, Join the Navy and see the world through a porthole. I remember using those protractors during the old compass courses in the ARNG 1975-1977. The National Grid uses them for getting crews in for pipeline leaks. Took the course at the National Hurricane Conference a number of years ago in Orlando. The instructors showed the non users how to use one so it wasn’t useless that I attended.
