I just got this email from my local Obama Love Chapter Head Koolaid Dispenser here in Maryland. He wants me to go outside of my district to attend another Congress person’s town hall meeting;
Well, maybe they just sent it to me because it’s hard to keep track of who lives where among all of the Obaminions in Maryland. Except that I got this email right after the first one telling me that “according to their records” I live in Maryland’s eighth district and would I please call my congressman, Chris VanHollen, to give him moral support in this grueling battle against “scare tactics”.
So who is astroturfing now? I’m guessing my uber-Leftist Congressman isn’t venturing out into the wilds of Silver Spring among the unwashed masses. Of course, most of his constituents in my neighborhood barely speak English, anyway, so why bother. So I should boost attendence in another district. In fact, I got three emails urging me to attend three different Congressal district town hall meetings – some across the state from me.
The second email was entitled “Beating the scare tactics”. What could be scarier than a President who compiles an “enemies list” of people spreading “fishy” information?
Now I’m really PO-ed!!! I haven’t gotten anything from Van Hollen except “Thanks for sending your opinion” reply letters! Is he having any townhall meetings or not?
Gunn Nutt, there’ll be a lot of dem reps and senators who won’t have town halls unless they’re assured the audience is packed with the brown shirts, I mean the purple shirts. Stabenow won’t be holding any, at least as of today, unless she has one in Detroit, Pontiac, Flint, Saginaw or Bay City. She’s up for re-election before Levin, so she’ll hide.
I would point out that I was somewhat disrupting town hall meetings before disrupting townhall meetings was cool, and I was easily outnumbered there 50-1.
And Ms Malkin and Sam Elliot made me internet famous for about 4 mins.
Of course, TSO just proved that this whole town hall disruption thing is backed by K Street lobbyists. Way to go.

heard this morning on the radio that some of the already scheduled local townhall meetings now require RSVP… they want to make sure they check your affiliation… Deja vue after Deja vue after Deja vue for me…

Of course they are. There “people” are grass roots folks expressing their opinion. Those opposing them are thugs. Except has anyone noted that those opposing the dimmocrats appear to be middle aged, clean cut folks who have had more than enough, while the idiots supporting the dimmocrats are more the “great unwashed?” Just putting it out there…you decide.
