  5. A Happy Mother’s Day to all of The Adorable Deplorable Mothers of TAH. To all the muthers of TAH, do anything except congeal yourself with ham. Doing so will make you see rats. Prolly the FIRST time Mick hasn’t had to pick up his trophy in the Ladies Room. (Ducks, runs for cover)

    A Payer of Thanks from those of us who had a Mama that raised us right. Not the easiest job in the world.

    A Prayer of Condolences for all of our Gold Star Moms. They made the Sacrifice that none of us want to see. That pain can never go away, and never gets any better. It only gets somewhat bearable.

  6. 7th, oops I’m not supposed to say that and I can’t find my round typewriter eraser with the little brush mounted on top and no ink eradicator on hand. Haven’t checked the drawer where I keep my K+E slide rule,so a happy Mother’s day goes out to all TAH Moms.

        Humid weather plus fast calcuations does a number on the slide rules so I have to use a little talc on them plus some of those pocket ones warp a little. The ones with the CF-DF top scales are great to use when the numbers go off the right end of the slide and you can pick them up with the CF, DF top scales. was in a restaurant around 2 years ago and whipped out one of my pocket rules and started to figure out the tip and my friend tells me to put it away. What’s wrong with her, she knows what they are plus I got a few looks from some people so I used my phone with a tip calculater put in by my friends grandson whom is a pc programmer.

  11. Welp. Here is something for us to look forward to in the next three to four years. More people in law school who likely won’t graduate or pass a bar exam. The ABA is recommending that all law schools eliminate passing the LSAT as a requirement to enter law school. Having taken that test twice, I can say that a person who can’t get decent scores on that test does not have the knowledge and analytical skills to do well in law school, let alone make a competent attorney. But this will be great for admitting the dimwitted who think they want to be lawyers, and as a means for more fly by night law schools to take their money.
