Avenatti Case Dismissed

Creepy Porn Lawyer

Finally. Should have put this in our wake long ago. Poetrooper sends.

CAN WE PLEASE MOVE ON?

Today Donald Trump sent out the following triumphant email:

Trump Wins Stormy Daniels Case

The 9th Circuit just issued a final ruling in the Stephanie Clifford (aka Stormy Daniels) frivolous lawsuit case against me brought by her disgraced lawyer, Michael Avenatti, upholding the lower court ruling that she owes me nearly $300,000 in attorney fees, costs, and sanctions (not including appeal costs).

This was Daniels’ defamation case against Trump.

As I have stated many times throughout the years, I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I ever have wanted to.

Powerline still has a couple questions.

Powerline

Thanks, Poe.

  1. Speaking of Creepy Pr0n Lawyer, I wonder who on his cell block he’s married to?

      1. “Yo’ bitch, come over here and suck your wife’s dick!!”
(Yeah, I didn’t want to tell the entire joke. You already know it.)

        1. I think I might have been the first to post it here, and I still wish that Bernathian booger-eating sueaholic many an interesting shower time.

        2. First heard that joke from an old-time, retired sheriff’s deputy who worked for the state board of prisons. You left off part of the punch line, which is “now be a good wife and….” The other one he told had the punch line of “oh, you’re not going to like Thursdays.”

          1. I remember that one too, along with the one ending in “Buddy, you ain’t here for the hunting, are you?”

    1. CPL is not locked up. He is out on bond with an ankle bracelet, awaiting the retrial of his embezzlement and fraud charges in federal court for stealing several million of his clients’ settlement funds. But I predict he will end up in federal prison for about 15 to 20 years, once he is convicted in the next two trials coming up.

      1. I may have misspoke. CPL surrounded to the federal court in Orange County last month. Supposedly he is in pre-sentencing confinement prior to being sentenced in the Stormy Daniels embezzlement/wire fraud case in NYC. So, he may have already had that “who gonna be da wife” discussion with his cellmate.

  2. I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I ever have wanted to.”

Ouch! That’s gonna leave a mark.

        1. Well, she knew he filed it, and she didn’t fire CPL and dismiss it before Trump hired those high-priced lawers to fight it. Quite frankly, I don’t believe anything that scrunt says.

  3. Curious if the False Commander “Phony” Phil Monkress (CEO of All-Points Logistics) and his new batch of Phildo Supporters will bring him in to Lori Bentons’ s staff?

    1. $300K? That’s a lotta sweaty sex scenes she’s gonna have to do to pay that, $300K Judgement against her PLUS what that balding Bernathian booger-munching hustler-turned-prison-wife stole from her…

  4. For the benefit of the non-lawers here, what happened is the that the federal 9th Cir. Court of Appeals dismissed Stormy’s appeal of the dismissal of her defamation lawsuit in federal court against Trump. The dismissal judgment also included an award of $300K in attorneys’ fees and court costs to Trump. Apparently, the CPL failed to file the notice of appeal in a timely fashion, so the court had no jurisdiction to hear the appeal. Stormy made the absurd statement that she will go to jail before she pays a penny to Trump; no, she won’t. One cannot be imprisoned for failure or refusal to pay a money judgment. We don’t have debtors’ prisons in this country.

  5. From the quoted headline “Can We Please Move On?” from the source “Poweline”:

We don’t think the Author was talking about the case when he wrote “Can We Please Move On?”

We think he was addressing Donald Trump and the 2024 election:

“Donald Trump was a very good president, but the Daniels incident and today’s email illustrate why he would be the wrong choice as the GOP’s 2024 nominee. The man drags around more baggage than even Hillary Clinton, and there are too many occasions–like today’s self-congratulatory email–when he comes across as petty and self-obsessed. Why does he so often give that impression? I suppose because he is, in fact, petty and self-obsessed.”

“The Republican Party has several excellent potential presidential candidates for 2024. It is time to move on from Donald Trump, who, on top of his other liabilities, will be78 years old when the next president is inaugurated. Let’s bring the geriatric era of American politics to an end.”

    1. I don’t give a fuck if Trump seems petty or self obsessed. What I DO care about is that he was pretty damned effective as president in his actions, despite the best efforts of socialist democrats, never trumpers and RINO’s to obstruct him. Imagine how much good he could have done if THOSE self obsessed assholes had not been such pedantic children for four years. Oh, and by the way, FUCK THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

        1. I got ya on that ninja. Just stating an opinion. It monumentally pisses me off to look at some of these turds out there that have no idea that sometimes you just gotta get off your ass and accomplish the mission. Trump was not trying to screw anyone over, he was trying to do the job he got. So many childish twatwaffles out there who get to vote…

      1. Ditto; he is the only president in my lifetime who has kept his campaign promises. He would have done more but for the lawfare and resistance waged against him. His rude tweets notwithstanding.

  6. The other PLUS side of this story is that Avenatti has likely been disbarred or going through the process, which means he isn’t (or won’t be) practicing law in the near future.

The only question I have is if Avenatti has a sports-airplane pilots license?

    1. The disbarment process is proceeding, but he will have to exhaust his appeals in one of his felony convictions before the Bar court will proceed to disbar him. Then it will take about another year before he is finally formally disbarred. In the meantime, he is suspended from practicing law. The only person he can represent is himself.

    2. Doesn’t he have to be disbarred in each state though? I thought there was no one for all disbarrment proceeding available to bust crooked lawyers.

      1. No, any other court where is admitted to practice will suspend him. He’s done as a lawer.
