Oh, Here We Go Again….

A new coronavirus variant is coming out of South Africa, NOT the USA or Europe. South Africa. It is labeled the Omicron variant, and Fauci can’t claim this one for himself. It is apparently very aggressive, but I have not seen any reports on its level of lethality.

In the comment I posted yesterday, about the Black Death plagues in Europe, and how they came and went, and that was in the days when bleeding someone was thought to cure diseases, it was plain as day that they went virulent – on a rampage – until they ran out of victims. The same thing happened with the Spanish Flu after WWI, when American troops returning from Europe brought it home with them. It went around twice and then backed off.

This one? It looks like a nasty mutation that occurred on its own. Mutations are natural occurrences which take place all the time. The exception is that the coronavirus organism is especially aggressive, but this is its first rodeo, too, and vaccines are available to block the current bug from this past year.

This new Omicron variant is just that: a new and previously unknown mutation. No vaccine is available yet to prevent it. Currently, it is found in South Africa, but as the article below indicates, some 60 people were found positive when they got off the plane and the others simply scattered, possibly to catch other flights.

Now READ THAT LAST PHRASE AGAIN: Everyone else has scattered to the world. That’s an exaggeraton by NYT, but you get the drift. These people are carrying a mutated version (variant) of the bug, one that occurred on its own, most likely on their own clothing and accessories.

If this is a new variant, which is one that occurred on its own, the mutation is self-induced by the bug.

While South Africa is scrambling to contain this mess, the other people on that flight were exposed and like the bubonic plague in the Middle Ages, may simply be carrying the bug on their clothing and personal items like briefcases, luggage or purses… or even credit cards.

The nonsense that any government can contain this bug is just that: pure nonsense. It is going to run its course, period, no matter what any government tries to do to stop it, and other mutations will occur until it has run its course. That’s it in a nutshell. While it has not appeared here, a mutation can occur here without this new bug present at all.

Fauci is a jerk, period. If you want to print out a large image of him and throw (empty) beer cans at it, do so if it makes you feel better. Go chop some wood for the fireplace if you have one, but we’re still a free country, no matter what those +==+holes in WDC think of us. Try to be patient with them. They are a bunch of little kids who think they are running the school playground when they are not.

    1. Exactly what Poe said here and Hondo below. A doctor in South Africa is quoted on Foxnews saying it’s very mild, with people feeling poorly for one or two days.

      It bears repeating that coronaviruses cause about 30% of common colds. (Last paper I read.) They mutate – a lot – it’s what they do. It’s how they… do. They are genetically fragile (which works out for them), they lack “spell check” functions… stuff like that.

      I think it’s KoB who regularly reminds us it’s not virus control, it’s people control.

      So, here we go again… same old SOS again.

    2. If they over-react enough, people who don’t can be “domestic terrorists” like parents critical of their children’s school too!

    3. If they overreact/overreach, how will the next “variant” be reported when discovered? As soon as it’s suspected, or when the death toll becomes too large to suppress??
      This “variant” sounds more contagious, but less virulent easier to catch but won’t kill you for the readers in Loma Linda, next time the area may hide the variant and create its own set of joys.

    Viruses mutate – rapidly. New variants are pretty much a given with viruses in fairly short order. It’s how we get annual flu variants that require a new vaccine annually.

    2. Seems I’ve read that typically viruses mutate/evolve to become more communicable and less lethal over time. For the virus’s survival and long-term viability, this makes sense to spread further and kill off fewer of the host. Dead hosts are a poor survival option.

    1. Yeah, I noticed that. Although pronounced differently it is certainly spelled the same as China’s beloved leader. All of these globalist world organizations (United Nations, WHO. WTO, etc.) are mouth pieces for the CHICOMs and we pick up most of the tab.

  19. A virus does 3 things. It infects, mutates and reproduces to repeat the cycle. Fortunately most mutate to a non infectious status and simply fade away, other than the “common cold”.

    1. The common cold is believed to be caused by 200+ different viruses. Those viruses have also mutated to produce variants that only rarely cause serious illness.

      The combination is probably why the “common cold” is both still around and has no vaccine.
