Regarding the US departure from Afghanistan, the following Reuters article includes updates.
70 Afghans were killed and 120 wounded in suicide bomber attacks by ISIS at the airport, along with our people. And, no, I do not believe anything that comes out of that clown’s mouth, especially when he boasts “we will hunt you down and…. do something….”, as was published in my local newsrag this morning.
They can have their pisshole country, and let China in. If we’re lucky, China will flatten it into the nastiest cesspool of chemical crap ever and that will last for millenia.
I still say we should, “nuke it from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure”, and turn the entire country into a molten glass radioactive parking lot.
THEN we can let the Chinese in.

Valiant but futile. All he managed to do was trash his career, likely lost his retirement, got a few minutes of publicity but in the end accomplish nothing. The “leadershit” (spelling intentional) in charge will do nothing to make his sacrifice worthwhile. I’m not on facebook, twister and all these social media sites so I couldn’t watch the video which I can see from the comments that it was well liked.
It was a Marine LTC battalion commander taking the regime and the high level command leaders to the verbal woodshed for their performance re A-stan and the Chinese fire drill we have been watching on the news.
My sorrow is for all those who lost lives, limbs, and family over those twenty or so years.
