What Soldier Type are You?

I saw this quiz a while back but someone sent it to me again so I thought we could kick off beer time with some fun.

Take the Quiz.

You Scored as Officer

Officer, you’re the brass. The leader of the bunch. You have leadership qualities, or you have a really big ego. Most likely both. You know how to get things done, and don’t care who you have to kill to get them done. Your a person with a mission and to stand in your way means pain. You have gumption and intelligence to back it up. Hold the line!!! AND SOMEONE GET ME A STARBUCKS!!!

Kind of makes me sound like a prick officer. Jonn can answer that better than I can as we served together.

Naturally, as all of you know, I am a very caring, kinder-gentler, sort of guy.

  1. I scored as an officer, as well. I was a USAF engineer, which only came in 3rd in my results, but I was an aero engineer, which might explain the 1st result:

    Artillery/Aircraft 81%
    Combat Infantry/Armor 75%
    Engineer 69%
    Special Ops 69%
    Officer 69%
    Support Gunner 56%
    Medic 56%
    Civilian 6%

Not to be persnickety, but there is a typo in the answer:

“Your a person” should be “You’re a person”.

  2. I scored

    Artillery/Aircraft
You are an artillery/armor soldier. Fighting really isn’t your strongsuit, and instead you prefer to sit back and blow things up with your 80+ mile range. This isn’t to say you don’t have a strong sense of duty and honor. You just seem to be smarter about it than most others around you. You agree with Gen Patton’s words: “The object of war isn’t to die for you country, it’s to make the other bastard die for his.”

I’m definitely not a good fighter, although I am rather intimidating.

  3. Officer, for some reason. But high on the list below the main thingy was medic, which is exactly what I was back in the day.

  4. Well, I may be MI now, but AM also 11B!

    You Scored as Support Gunner

You’re a support gunner. You carry a big gun, and people generally call on you when in trouble. You’re a strong person physically and emotionaly. You can take being on the front lines of any problem clearing paths for your buddies. You generally lead the way with your strong personality, hitting the problem with all the tact and finesse of a Chain-Saw Murderer. CLICK, Cha-chink… DAKKA-DAKKA-DAKKA!!!

    Combat Infantry/Armor 88%
    Support Gunner 88%
    Special Ops 81%
    Medic 75%
    Officer 75%
    Artillery/Aircraft 69%
    Engineer 63%
    Civilian 0%

  5. You Scored as Officer
    My result:

Definitely on target. I can’t/won’t go one day without my Starbucks. All the other? Eh. Bottom line…the military is much better off without me as an officer. Trust me.

  6. You Scored as Officer

    Combat Infantry/Armor
    94%
    Medic
    81%
    Officer
    81%
    Support Gunner
    75%
    Special Ops
    75%
    Artillery/Aircraft
    50%
    Engineer
    50%
    Civilian
    31%

Wierd that medic scored below combat arms, but whatever. Otherwise it seems on target.

Oh yeah! Who’s making that Starbucks run?

  7. Ha. I am a support gunner, medic 100%. It fits. It’s what I DO for God’s sake. but I love the description…”

There ARE times when I do lack finesse, but I get ‘er done!!

  8. Special Ops, baby: You Scored as Special Ops

Special ops. You’re sneaky, tactful, and a loner. You prefer to do your jobs alone, working where you don’t come into contact with people. But every once in a while you hit it big and are noticed and given fame. You’re given the more sensitive problems. You get things done, and do what has to be done. You are competent, resourceful, and resiliant. “VULCAN NECK PINCH!!!” “owww…….(slump)”

    Ronin, all the way..

  9. Heh,
I join Jonn and COB6 and the other posters in the Officer category.

Which probably means that if I had been in the service I probably would have been a grunt!

    DanNY

  10. Officer with Artillery/Aircraft-88% and Special Ops-81%
and I do not drink coffee, especially Starbucks…

  11. DAKKA-DAKKA-DAKKA

I wonder if I am the only person here who can refference that statment.

  12. Special Ops in a near tie with engineer, followed closely by combat infantry/armor. Just because I like making things go “boom” doesn’t mean . . . well, maybe it does.

  13. Support Gunner.

The blurb was ginked. Ran off in a single line to the right of the page and disappeared under the adverts and such, so no clue what all it said until y’all posted the stuffs in comments.

If support gunner includes standard issue grunt type tank breakers, then I were one. All good.

  14. Now how the hell did THAT happen? I can’t be an Officer… My parents were married to each other.
    🙂
