It’s gone! Another Utah monolith update

Monolith, we hardly knew ye (Instagram photo)

As mysteriously as it came, it’s now went. The mystery monolith that was discovered deep in the Utah desert last week and visited by countless people this past weekend has vanished. The Utah Bureau of Land Management has confirmed that they didn’t remove it, but someone(s) did on the night of the 27th.

Curiouser and curiouser.

Accidentally put it up for the wrong day/time, so it got buried. Moved it up to its rightful spot. -Mason

  1. What was the name of that TV show from the 90s? Stagate SG-1.
We shall make science fiction great again!

    1. There was Battlestsar Galactica, too, and a couple of Brit TV shows, e.g., UFO. And there was ALWAYS Dr. Who, especially when the Daleks showed up snarling “Exterminate! Exterminate!”

      1. The reboot of Battlestar Galactica was far better than the original, although that was 2000s.

90’s SciFi? Take your pick: DS9, Babylon 5, X-Files, Quantum Leap, MST3K…so that wasn’t a bad decade after all.

  2. OK, this thread is moving around as much, if not more, as the monolith is. GET STILL! You kids better settle down back there, if I have to pull over….

  3. Saw on my home page that the Monolith was taken out by a person or persons unknown this past Friday night so that kills my story that it was used to direct archiologists wearing fedora hats and leather jackets to the Arc of the Convenent. Oh well.

  4. Gone. Like the millions of ghost voters that only voted for Biden on their mysterious 2AM election night ballots…..

    1. I never noticed before, but they made those monkey suits anatomically correct and rather well endowed.
