I graduated Ranger school in class 7-68. 26 years later, my son graduated in class 4-94. 26 years later, his son graduated in class 5-20. A family trifecta.

During my Florida Phase (Class 8-74) we were down to one C Ration per day. That’s it, one little cardboard box with a few tin cans of food. For those counting, that provided 1,235 calories for the day. While humping weapons (sometimes the pig), LBE and ruck through the swamps.
Is that a life preserver (ski vest) that Ranger is wearing coming out of the water at the Slide for Life? Yes, it is. There was a reason it is (was) called the Slide for Life. So what is it called now? “The Ranger Water Park game”?

Yes, even though my class experienced snow in the mountain phase, we only received one C-rat a day when on patrol. Same in Florida.
