Postal Worker – Recant or No Recant?

The Washington Post reported that a postal worker named Richard Hopkins claimed he was coerced into backdating ballots and later recanted that story.

Postal worker recanted allegations of ballot tampering, officials say

Richard Hopkins’s claim that a postmaster in Erie, Pa., instructed postal workers to backdate ballots mailed after Election Day was cited by Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) in a letter to the Justice Department calling for a federal investigation. Attorney General William P. Barr subsequently authorized federal prosecutors to open probes into credible allegations of voting irregularities and fraud before results are certified, a reversal of long-standing Justice Department policy.

But on Monday, Hopkins, 32, told investigators from the U.S. Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General that the allegations were not true, and he signed an affidavit recanting his claims, according to officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe an ongoing investigation. Democrats on the House Oversight Committee tweeted late Tuesday that the “whistleblower completely RECANTED.”

However, in an article by FoxNews, Hopkins claimed that he did not recant his claim.

Pennsylvania postal worker’s claims of voter fraud come under question

On Monday, Hopkins is said to have signed an affidavit recanting those claims, which appeared to be confirmed in a tweet by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.

The Washington Post, which cited three officials briefed on the investigation, also said Hopkins allegedly admitted to U.S. Postal Service investigators that claims of widespread voting irregularities were fabricated.

However, Project Veritas – the far-right activist group which aired Hopkins’ initial claims – posted a video to its Twitter page on Tuesday, which appeared to show Hopkins saying he did not recant his statements, along with the promise that more details would be released on Wednesday.

Project Veritas also released recordings that purportedly show an investigator attempting to convince Hopkins to change his narrative.

This will be interesting to get sorted out but we wanted to bring light to something the Washington Post article stated.

A page on the social networking site LinkedIn that matches Hopkins’s name and other biographical details says he served in the Marine Corps from 2007 to 2012.

It seems that Richard Hopkins is telling the truth about his Marine Corps service.

  1. So Richard, have you ever heard of Jeffrey Epstein? Maybe you want to think a little harder about what you remember that day?

  2. WFTL 850AM Radio, Fl. mentioned that the man did not recant the story. He was pressured to recant the story but would not. Radio on now and the man is on right now talking about it. What timing hearing it again as I’m using up the ink on the keyboard ribbon. Lt. Col Tony Schaeffer on earlier talking about the ballot machines transfering the “glitches” over to biden as soon as trumps numbers started to get high.

  3. God puts the right man at the right place sometimes.

Usually, a quiet, unassuming, hard man.

Oh, and you deep state marxists, FOOK OFF.

“Richard Hopkins, a Combat Veteran and a marine with a daughter never asked to go public or for any of this. In the full interview released tomorrow, he said this harder than what he endured in Afghanistan.”

  4. Bet he’s through at USPS regardless. I’ll judge his veracity by what he’s doing a year from now.

  5. Think of the book, “The game of the foxes” being played out before our eyes, we are witnessing history in the making.

The epic snowflake melt down will be amazing but still avowed crowds.

Watch who on the left is getting scared.

Truth, Justice and the American way!

    I have a Dream…..

  6. Between the Postal Worker, the FiBbIes, and the birdcage liner WaPo, guess which one I’d trust?

    1. Uh, that should be the person/entities that is/are not invested deep staters and their propaganda machines. So, the postal worker. There was $130K raised for the suspended postal worker on GoFundme to support his family. Guess what happened; GoFuckme took the account down after it zeroed the contributions.

      1. DING! DING! DING! DING!
Give that boy a kewpie doll and a cheap seegar.

Q: is there a GoBundMe competitor? (Bund = German government)

        1. Now, now. Don’t be too harsh with them. After all, they are only trying to do the Reich thing.

  7. They are going to scream bloody damn murder if the theft of this election is not allowed to happen. If they are allowed to get away with this, get ready to fight or surrender.

ALL of the politicians in Washington DC and yes, many at the state level are responsible for this. A grifting career political hack and a whore, in charge of the free world. SMH

    1. As you may recall, in the end of Orwell’s tale, the party terrorizes Winston to the point he actually believes preposterous lies and begins to love Big Brother. Hopefully, this will not become U.S. history, but it appears to be the goal of some of our politicians and their media lap dogs.
