400+ Michigan absentee ballots for military overseas voters list the wrong Republican ticket for president

The Michigan Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office erred on printing who Donald Trump’s running mate in the 2020 presidential election is. Instead of listing the sitting Vice President of the United States Mike Pence, they printed Jeremy Cohen (who is running for VP on Libertarian Jo Jorgenson’s ticket).

It’s not clear how the mistake was made or how many people’s ballots it affected.

      A donut is worth more than a dollar.
      Is it because the donut is sweet?

        1. Oh, I knew it means a sure bet, it is just that the origin of the saying doesn’t make much sense, since donuts are worth than a dollar.

          And apparently it has been that way for a while. I came to America in 1994, and a donut was more than a dollar.

  2. They figure “at this point in time, what difference does it make.” Nobody with a mail in ballot will be voting for Trump anyhow, so the name of the running mate is a mute point. C’mon man! Send Soda Pop and CoCola thru the Housing Area to help the troops and dependapotomi fill them out.

    Like a number of the other ‘weeds and weedettes here I’ve been voting in National Elections for right at 50 years. Just saw the latest Biden ad. Reads just like the demonrat ads that I remember from the mid 1950s forward. “Tax the wealthy and corporations, spend more on schools, and protect social security.” Only difference now is the ORANGE MAN BAD part.

  7. This is battlefield prep for the general election. They will generate chaos in the ballot counting To delay a decision and claim incompetence, even though it is their own incompetence.

    1. Yeah, Benson has already all but promised that it will take at least a week, maybe longer, to count all of the ballots. Of course, they’ll need that long to find all the pre-marked ballots in Metro Detroit, Pontiac, Flint, Saginaw, Lansing, Kalamazoo and assorted college towns.

    Wrong names on ballots… Dead people and cats casting votes… bundles of mail left in dumpsters or stored away, only to be discovered months after the election takes place.

  12. Jeremy Cohen can play the fiddle nearly as well as Charlie Daniels did. I think he might be a better choice than Pence.
