ROS sends us this link from Fox News in which they report that the seemingly impossible has happened. In a city where guns are banned, one pistolero started blasting away.
Apparently it was a white man in his twenties who was fired from his job in the building the previous day. 10 are injured and the gunman was killed by police or in custody, depending on what you want to believe from early reports. Police won’t confirm that there are two deceased victims.
Regardless, the story of the day remains that Nanny Bloomberg’s city isn’t any safer because of his constant nagging about guns, Big Soda and breast feeding. Bend over, NYers, here it comes.

You don’t even understand what you’re doing. The only thing you do understand is how to please a man, and it would behoove you to do that. Perhaps after you get out of tje marines, you could take your skills and become a fluffer.
Gallagher Fan: if you were talking to me, I didn’t try to call anyone stupid. I merely compared your intellect to that of a fence post. I also pointed out your ignorance of matters virtually in your own back yard.
I prefer to think you as merely an “ignorant fool”, but hey – it’s a free country. Consider yourself stupid if you like.
And I’ll waste no more time arguing with an ignorant fool on this thread.
See, what YOU’RE doing is what we call “projecting”, which leads me to believe you engage in most of the activities you accuse others of engaging in. I’m just throwing your projections of yourself right back at you, and it seems you just can’t handle it. Looks like you’ve had a bit of a meltdown.
Two guys need a little nappy and their binkies.
Eh, whatever. I explained everything in #53.
Wow redacted, you’re so annoying the other sycophants here have turned against you, better get on your knees and start changing their minds.
Project away douchebag!
That’s twice you’ve declared yourself done, only to come right back in the minute I say something. Sounds like you’re the one having a meltdown. What was that about projecting?
This is all photo-shopped because guns are banned in NYC. There are no guns there.
hey guys, enough with the grade school insults. My 6 yr old nephew argues better than that.
Murder is also banned in NYC JP, so I think your photoshop theory is right. I think this is all a ruse by the gun grabbing Obama administration.
In NYC, the cops aren’t culpable, after all, Nanny Bloomberg has made it clear that guns, not people, shoot people. I think it’s a law.
I thought guns killed people like spoons made Rosie O’Donnell fat… 😉
Wait the cops are involved now? This conspiracy gets bigger all the time! Better start stocking up on guns and ammo now.
Gagger, Dude, give it a rest please… Hint: NO ONE CARES.
This is interesting, at least 7of the 9 wounded were hit by 9mm Bullets, the Gunman had a .45ACP
another great day in NYPD marksmanship training standards
Yeah dickhead, because shooting at a moving target with a handgun on a crowded street during rush hour wouldn’t pose a high risk of hitting innocent bystanders. Oh wait, who am I trying to convince here? A bunch of idiots who have no idea what the fuck they’re talking about.
LOLZ Gagger, I spent 15 months in Iraq as a Medium Machine Gunner, I know all about leading a target, but, thanks for playing! Now, please shut your cum-receptical and go away!
Evidently the NYPD was also shooting at the vast distance of 5 feet.
A buddy of mine was NYPD and a competition shooter (both 3 gun and National Match rules). He said the gun handling and shooting skills of his coworkers was horrible. The heavy trigger pull didn’t help.
How is that relevant to a police officer shooting at someone on a crowded Manhattan street. Apples and oranges. And come off that medium machine gunner bullshit, you’re a fucking CA remf who happened to man the gun on a CA truck. Apples and fucking oranges.
@66 This would be the same police force that used 41 bullets to put down an unarmed man, or shot a woman accidentally, and shot another man when they broke open the wrong door…
Training standards overall are pretty weak when you pay out settlements in the millions after your interactions with those you are sworn to protect and serve.
Apples and fucking Oranges? Fuckface, you were just talking about leading a fucking target. I am a former police recruit and competitive shooter, I would think I am more than qualified to not only know how to shoot, but to comment on this subject. My being a CA Team SGT has no bearing on my shooting ability, which is quite well. You, need to stop hermano
And, btw, in no way was I a REMF on either tour you fucking miserable excuse for a waste of oxygen
Am I alone in finding it ironic that the denizens of a website which regularly defends soldiers and marines for accidentally (or not so accidentally i.e. Haditha) shooting innocent bystanders starts attacking and monday morning QBing a bunch of cops for doing the same thing?
A FORMER Police recruit. Oh you sound like a real stud.
You are very alone, so alone in fact, you should find a corner, go cry in it, then suck-start a shotgun
*sigh*
We have Tuesdays with Claymore; now it looks like we’ve started Fridays with Trolls.
Lol, do not get me started on that particular department, its corruption, and lack of morals and common sense, or the shitty pay
Seems like we have a troll by the short hairs…please let him go, his mom misses him and he’s starting to stink the place up…
Pinto: Concur
In 2010, NYC shelled out $135.8 million to settle claims brought against the NYPD alone! Lest the numbers mislead, of that sum, $56.4 million for misconduct-related tort claims (e.g., false arrest, excessive force.) Holy Hannah! That’s a lot of loot. By the way, the payouts have skyrocketed since Bloominstein took over. And the city’s atty staff expansion accounts for millions more in salaries to handle all of the claims. Yup. What New Yawkers need is less salt, less saturated fat, and fewer bullets.
Fucky, is comment 76 how you felt when they tossed you from the academy?
Where’s Frank and his target engagement standing order?
Haha more like free, and had a better contractor job that paid more, and AirCav, apparently they do not teach the 21′ standoff distance rule in the academy up there!
@84. Yeah but that’s the edged weapon rule. Ever see it? It’s damned true. I saw an instructor cross a gym floor ( width, not length) with a fake blade in hand and plunge it into a recruit before he could draw and fire.
If there’s anything the NYPD needs it’s a hard charging former police recruit like you Lucky, step to it!
It sounds like Gallagher Fan had his melon busted.
Will an admin please remove gallagherfan and his idiotic posts from this thread. And by the way stop encouraging this shit. Tolling troll is trolling hard.
AK’s got a point. You guys should listen to him, that way this thread will just have a shitload of moronic posts by everyone not named “Gallagher Fan”
I haven’t involved myself in the homoerotic banter going on and would like to stick to the subject. So, with that in mind;
@74: There’s a big difference between soldiers in a warzone and the civilian police force in a city. That you don’t seem to understand that difference is not lost on us. That you bring up Haditha shows you are intellectually retarded as well as just plain stupid.
It seems that you are attempting to make yourself seem like you are so much more knowledgeable than the rest of us when we’re only pointing out the fact the police wounded more people than the shooter.
Enlighten me then, Trooper. What, pray tell, happened in Haditha?
Well, evidently, the NYPD was there, too.
I repeat my original statement. Trolling troll is trolling hard. Stop talking to him and he’ll go away… I hope.
In USMC uniforms? Look if I’m wrong about what happened in Haditha why don’t you tell me what I’m wrong about and what actually happened? That way I’ll know nettee than to make incorrect claoms about those brave marines.
@88 How do you figure gallagher fan is a troll, he only left his opinion in comment #3 and was insulted by redacted in comment # 10.. Redacted drew first blood.
Guys, why on earth are you letting a 12-year-old with a brain the size of a pea bait you like this?
Is this a guy thing?
AirCav, that I have seen, up close and personal. As for the troll, for the benefit of the forum, I was a recruit in one of the PDs that caused the Raub incident and has had profiling issues with veterans. It’s a big reason why I left. I also have memorial ink for fallen friends, was hired with it, and was harassed by the instructors for it. Add to that corruption, their hatred of people from Northern VA, the issues with Officers screwing prostitutes in their cruisers, getting DUIs in their cruisers, crashing them through houses and not being punished, and you have myself and half the department leaving at once. And the department only had 250 officers! Oh, and the chief hating on vets, and saying that gangs do not exist there at all. I haven’t given up on becoming a cop one day, but certainly not there.
Geez – been basically doing without the internet for a few days while they upgraded the damn thing, then a few days before that for different reasons, and THIS is what awaits? Not hardly worth it.
Back on topic here, if I may: Since the majority of the casualties were caused from the police being armed, the logical conclusion would be to disarm the police, right??
@97 Cops are like that everywhere.. I am surprised you didn’t fit in with those guys.
The reason I’m so hard up for defending these cops is because as a child I was abused by one and really enjoyed it. I miss those days.
