He says his dates of service are from 74 – 05. I checked AKO for any retired accounts and there isn’t anything listed for a CSM of that name. I figured it was a long shot. I could be wrong but isn’t that a World War II Army of Occupation Service Medal? I noticed his affiliation w/ the 101st on his FB page as well. I have some old friends who were Rakkasans who would love to get his input on his service. I think you are right though in that he probably served somewhere and just went a little apeshit with the decorations. This screams of JROTC/USAR/NG somehow.
The shot intrigues me. Now I have a small stand—-a table of sorts—-on which are multiple small objects, with the same Native American-looking thingy above and on either side of the table. That puts the photo taker pretty much center mass of the guy and it looks like a shoulder and arm reflected on the guy. What I find cool is the seeming double reflection at play. (Yeah, I’m bored.)
@2 – I’ve been looking at that picture, too. It appears someone is taking a photo of a photo on a wall (absent the frame), and the reflection is the back of the room where the photo was taken, as reflected on the glass of the original photo. The dream catcher is mounted on the opposite wall, just a little bit over from the trinket table.
This bozo is wearing a bronze Schützenschnur incorrectly and a Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Guard Identification Badge incorrectly and a Pathfinder Badge but no Army Parachutist Badge. He has several problems likely starting with behavioral health. The Tomb Guard Badge is only second to the Army Astronaut badge in fewest awarded. The are all numbered if authentic and you have to walk the Tomb for nine months to qualify for award of the badge among other requirements. This guy doesn’t look like he could walk 9 klicks let alone 9 months.
This appears to have been his base model. He hgas added several additional awards and badges and deleted a few others such as the CIB(2nd) and Master Parachutist Badge.

The badge he is wearing on his right side is the Beretbadge from the british Parachute Regiment. I’ver never seen someone wearing a Beretbadge on the place were you normaly can wear foreign Jumpwings. He also wears the German “Schuetzenschnur” (German Armed Forces Badge for Weapons Proficiency) the wrong way.

The Army of Occupation Medal was also given for service in Berlin from 1945 to 1990, I believe.

I notice a lot of these posers wear both the air assault and pathfinder badges which is like wearing both parachutist and jumpmaster wings.
