Suspected car burglar dies after shootout with homeowner<\/strong><\/p>\n SAN ANTONIO – A suspected car burglar is dead after getting into a shootout with the car owner early Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n The shooting took place just before 3 a.m. at a home on Deely Place near S. Flores Street on the South Side.<\/p>\n Police said the homeowner saw a man allegedly breaking into his vehicle. After being confronted by the homeowner, the suspect pulled a gun on him. The homeowner pulled out his own gun and shots were exchanged.<\/p>\n The suspect ran off, but his body was found by a police K-9 in nearby Bellaire Park where he bled to death.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 Police investigating shooting death at Fayetteville residence<\/strong> No charges are expected in the death of a man yelling aggressively and banging on doors in a Fayetteville subdivision, who was subsequently shot by a resident of one of the homes after reportedly trying to gain entry.<\/p>\n Fayetteville police officers on May 3 were dispatched at 11:11 p.m. to a home on Habersham Drive, where several residents reported that an adult male was yelling aggressively and banging on houses in the neighborhood, said Fayetteville Police Department spokesperson Ann Marie Burdett.<\/p>\n \u201cAt one point, the subject reportedly attempted to gain entry to a home on Habersham Drive, and he was shot by a resident of that home,\u201d Burdett said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
