\nBuxton\u2019s a rural area not far west of Portland, Maine. And while the state\u2019s \u201cstay healthy at home<\/a>\u201d order doesn\u2019t expire until the end of the month, that didn\u2019t stop a home invader from forcing his way into Eric and Missy Bartlett house this past weekend.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the Bartletts are gun owners.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was nerve-racking obviously. It was 3 o\u2019clock in the morning. You don\u2019t expect that,\u201d Eric Bartlett said.<\/p>\n

The couple, both certified Maine Guides and avid hunters, jumped into action. Missy dialed 911 as Eric grabbed his flashlight and gun and headed downstairs.<\/p>\n

Eric blinded the intruder with a flashlight, then forced him at gunpoint into a bathroom where he held him until police arrived.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
