Many of the same people that believed the unsubstantiated sexual assault claims against Kavanaugh are not as enthusiastic when fighting for the voice of Joe Biden’s accuser. (The Donald Win)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Remember when many Democrats demanded that we “believe the woman” when it comes to sexual assaults? Even Joe Biden put his two cents into the fray, insinuating that truth should be assumed on the woman’s part. Joe Biden tuned in as a guest to an interview on Morning Joe. He received the kinds of questions he wasn’t used to getting. Mika Brzezinski quoted Joe Biden’s statement supporting Kavanaugh’s accusers, then held his feet to the fire and repeatedly asked him the same question.<\/p>\n

In a previous presidential election cycle where he was on the ticket, he faced another interview where he had to deal with tough questions. Not the easy questions that Democrats normally get. Joe Biden was annoyed during that interview. You could tell that he was getting frustrated and angry in this interview.<\/p>\n

“Did you sexually assault Tara Reade?<\/span><\/strong>” Brzezinski asked to kick the interview off.<\/p>\n

“No, it is not true<\/strong><\/span>,” the former vice president replied. “I’m saying unequivocally it never, never happened and it didn’t. It never happened.<\/strong><\/span>”<\/p>\n

In one of the most pointed moments of the interview, Brzezinski, a vociferous critic of President Trump, asked Biden about his statements during Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings supporting a woman making accusations against the nominee.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

At the time, Biden said that when a woman comes forward to make allegations “in the glaring lights of focus, nationally, you’ve got to start off with the presumption that at least the essence of what she’s talking about is real.<\/span><\/strong>”<\/p>\n

“What I said during the Kavanaugh hearings was that she had a right to be heard,<\/strong><\/span>” Biden responded. “The fact that she came forward, the presumption would be that she was telling the truth, unless she wasn’t telling the truth.<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
