Field Grade. A commander in the rank of major or above may administer this type of Article 15. The maximum punishment authorized at a field grade Article 15 is:<\/p>\n<p>        a. extra duty for 45 days<br \/>\n        b. restriction for 60 days (maximum of 45 days if combined with extra duty)<br \/>\n        c. oral reprimand or admonition<br \/>\n        d. forfeiture of one-half base pay per month for two months<br \/>\n        e. reduction in rank to E-1 (E-4 and below) or reduction in rank of one grade (E-5 &#038; E-6 only)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For some reason, his unit sent him back from Iraq and he&#8217;s being treated at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox11online.com\/dpp\/news\/local_wluk_greenbay_awol_soldier_learns_punishment_200904171537_rev1\">Fox11 WLUK<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Right now, Walker is on medical leave from Iraq though officials won&#8217;t give details on his medical condition.<\/p>\n<p>Once he is healthy, Army officials said he will begin the base confinement. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenbaypressgazette.com\/article\/20090417\/GPG0101\/90417075\/1207\/GPG01\">Green Bay Press Gazette<\/a> quotes Walker&#8217;s wife and LTC Nathan Banks (tee-hee);<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Walker&#8217;s wife, Sierra, said her husband is not being confined to the base. He will be released upon the completion of medical paperwork and he will continue treatment at home, she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The doctors are pushing for him to be medically discharged from the military,&#8221; she said Friday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Sierra Walker only would say her husband&#8217;s condition is &#8220;bad enough that he was sent out of Iraq in the first place. He was dealing with doctors who said he needed to be out.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lt. Col. Nathan Banks, U.S. Army spokesman at the Pentagon, said Walker was flown Thursday from Germany to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Banks said there would be no more punitive actions against Walker, saying the steps taken were consistent with military code.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is getting excellent care, the best the Army can offer,\u201d Banks said. He did not provide medical details, citing privacy restrictions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, i think Walker skated &#8211; he should have been court martialed.
