This took place in the 19200 block of West McNichols, west of the Southfield Freeway. <\/p>\n<p>But the victim has a concealed weapons permit holder, police say, and he pulled a gun of his own and shot the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>When the suspect turned up at a hospital, after being privately transported there, he was placed under arrest and listed in temporary serious condition. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>0 \/ 1 \/ 0<br \/>\nRead the rest: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detroitnews.com\/story\/news\/local\/detroit-city\/2020\/04\/13\/man-allegedly-pulls-gun-but-gets-shot-intended-victim\/2982624001\/\">Detroit News<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police: Multiple shots fired in home invasion<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>By Ed Lewis<br \/>\nWILKES-BARRE \u2014 A Nanticoke man who suffered a gunshot wound to his leg during a home invasion on Church Street Saturday night asked to buy a bottle of liquor before the shooting, according to court records.<\/p>\n<p>City police said Jeremy Battle, 30, of South Market Street, was nearly shot two more times as he fled through the rear yard and climbed over a fence six feet high while being chased by the homeowner.<\/p>\n<p>Battle was found by police at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where he was being treated for the gunshot injury.<\/p>\n<p>According to the criminal complaint obtained Monday:<\/p>\n<p>Police responded to the Church Street home just before 10 p.m. for gunfire.<\/p>\n<p>Those inside the home told police a man, identified as Battle, not known to them entered the rear kitchen door and asked to by a bottle of liquor. One person inside the home was cooking in the kitchen when Battle entered the residence.<\/p>\n<p>When those inside the kitchen told Battle to get out, he pulled a pistol from his waistband and aimed it at a person in the kitchen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>0 \/ 1 \/ 0<br \/>\nRead the rest: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesleader.com\/news\/779999\/police-multiple-shots-fired-in-home-invasion\">Times Leader<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Buxton man held at gunpoint after breaking into home, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>BUXTON (WGME) &#8212; A Buxton man faces several charges after police say he broke into a home Saturday afternoon and was held at gunpoint until they arrived.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday Buxton Police said police responded to Townsend Road, where a woman called 911 and said her husband was keeping the man detained at gunpoint.<\/p>\n<p>Buxton Officer Eric Sanborn tried to take Joseph Harmon, 48, into custody but said it appeared Harmon was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, making unusual statements and may have been in an altered state of mind.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Eric Bartlett showed &#8220;great restraint and incredible firearms discipline&#8221; for keeping Harmon in check without using deadly force.<\/p>\n<p>It was found Harmon had stolen a neighbor&#8217;s vehicle before breaking into the residence.
