2 killed, 18 wounded in Chicago weekend shootings<\/strong> Saturday Night Fatal Shooting On Collier Avenue Is Potential Self-Defense Case<\/strong> Saturday night’s fatal shooting of Tony C. Waters Jr., 29, by his father at the family home on Collier Avenue is being investigated as a potential justifiable homicide after Waters Jr. assaulted two other persons in the residence, left, and then came back reportedly still violent.<\/p>\n South Precinct officers initially responded to the home at 8 p.m. Saturday and were told that Waters Jr. arrived intoxicated and punched his cousin and stepmother before fleeing. The stepmother required hospital treatment for a laceration to her face. After speaking with the assault victims and Waters’ father, Tony Waters Sr., 47, officers left to obtain arrest warrants for Waters Jr.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 Man shot on Yori Avenue dies<\/strong><\/p>\n RENO, Nev. (KOLO)– On April 5, 2020 around 2 p.m. Officers responded to 2625 Yori Avenue after a report of a battery with a deadly weapon, locating one man who had been shot.<\/p>\n After further investigation Detectives determined that the incident was related to an earlier RPD call, where a female resident of the apartment complex had been battered and strangled by her boyfriend, who had fled the scene prior to Officers arrival.<\/p>\n The suspect (boyfriend) had later returned to the complex looking for the female.<\/p>\n While at the complex, the suspect confronted the landlord placing him in imminent danger. In self-defense, the landlord shot the suspect once.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 Suspected car thief killed outside Oak Cliff store<\/strong><\/p>\n DALLAS – A man police believe tried to steal a vehicle was killed outside a convenience store in east Oak Cliff Sunday morning.<\/p>\n Police believe the person inside the vehicle shot the would-be robber on Bonnie View Road near Illinois Avenue and Interstate 45.<\/p>\n They are still looking for the shooter, who left the scene before officers got there.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
