Homeowner shoots home invasion suspect in St. Charles<\/strong><\/p>\n

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) \u2013 A man suspected of a home invasion in suburban St. Louis is recovering after being shot by the homeowner, and he\u2019s also expected to face criminal charges.<\/p>\n

Police in St. Charles say the man entered a home early Thursday, and the homeowner shot him.<\/p>\n

Police described the man\u2019s injuries as non-life threatening.<\/p>\n

The man fled but was captured by police a short time later.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Philly Store Owner Shoots and Kills Attempted Robber<\/strong> <\/p>\n

\nA Philadelphia store owner shot and killed a man who tried to rob his business, according to investigators.<\/p>\n

Police said a man in his 20’s tried to rob a store on the 2700 block of Germantown Avenue at 4:25 p.m. Saturday. The store owner then pulled out a gun and opened fire, shooting the man five times.<\/p>\n

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m. The store owner was taken into custody for questioning.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Man shoots suspect after ‘fearing for his life’ in Bel Air, says Sheriff’s Office<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBEL AIR, Md. (WBFF) – A man was injured in an overnight shooting in Bel Air, at an apartment complex off of Harford County’s Route 24.<\/p>\n

Tyler Reid, 28, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body at about 12:59 a.m. on Foxhall Drive in the Calverts Walk complex, said the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Investigators determined Reid, who doesn’t live at the location, got in an argument with his girlfriend, who lives there, said the Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Jordan Ellison, 27, another resident, got involved in the altercation and Reid physically assaulted him, said the Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Ellison fired a round at Reid with a rifle during the struggle, saying he was fearing for his life, said the Sheriff’s Office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Not a fan of hanging lights or lasers from handguns, JMHO. Nice to see the Philly Po-Po will get involved when a robbery goes South and a bad guy becomes ventilated, so there is that. Bel Air, MD is a nice little town just North of Baltimore. I wouldn’t go there on a bet, unarmed.
