Secretary of Defense Mark Esper announced on Monday that an\u00a0American woman was rescued<\/a>\u00a0during a daring military raid in Honduras.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Skippy sends.<\/p>\n Esper intentionally revealed very little details about the mission, but here is what we know:<\/p>\n 1. A young American woman was the \u201cvictim of a violent crime\u201d in the\u00a0Central American nation<\/a>.<\/p>\n 2. She has been returned to the United States<\/p>\n 3. President Trump credited Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley for \u201cTaking care of it.\u201d Trump also said, \u201cWe went in and we got her out, but that was rough stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n Honduras had recently closed its borders due to the Covid-19 pandemic. US Southern Command was there retrieving a stranded American women\u2019s tackle football team, and likely simultaneously carried out the rescue raid.<\/p>\n One could also speculate that the raid was carried out, or at least partly facilitated by a private security corporation known as Global Guardian, which is comprised of former special operations veterans.\u00a0Global Guardian had just rescued 144 Americans and Canadians<\/a>\u00a0who were stranded on the Honduras island Roatan.<\/p>\n The following video by Staff Sgt.
