Alyssa Milano said she was brought to tears by Joe Biden\u2019s \u201cleadership,\u201d after the former vice president spoke in Delaware on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have tears in my eyes watching @JoeBiden right now. Thank God for his leadership during this crisis,\u201d Milano, an actress turned liberal activist and a vehement critic of President Donald Trump, tweeted on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Biden criticized the Trump administration\u2019s response to the coronavirus outbreak during a speech in Wilmington.<\/p>\n

The White House hopeful laid out his own plan for dealing with the outbreak, including emergency paid sick leave for workers and widely available free testing for the virus, saying the number of tests should number in the \u201cmillions, not the thousands.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Trump administration has been criticized for failing to produce enough tests to meet demand.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis virus laid bare the severe shortcomings of the current administration,\u201d Biden said in his 20-minute address from his home state.<\/p>\n
